Why did you join Fasset? I was working in the UK before I joined Fasset, and Fasset gave me the opportunity to move overseas for a startup that was tech-focused, mission-driven and operating in a new and exciting industry! I also wanted to experience the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment, and I got exactly that. At Fasset, there is a much stronger sense of ownership and accountability than any other company I worked for before. What do you like most about Fasset? Definitely the team and the culture! At Fasset, I am surrounded by super talented and passionate people. Working on problem-solving with such people not only makes my work easier but also more enjoyable! What have been your most memorable learnings? With the right mindset and approach, there are no problems, just challenges! Reframing problems as challenges has personally been a transformative perspective shift for me. How has Fasset helped you shape your career? During my time at Fasset, I’ve had the opportunity to wear multiple hats and gain a huge amount of experience in a short span of time. If you can’t measure the organisational impact of the partner lifecycle, you don’t have control over your program. It’s not just incoming business that should be tracked, it’s the time and cost of what the company does to support each and every partner. On avg, it can cost a SaaS business over $150k, per partner, through the lifecycle of recruitment, onboarding and making them active, which means,if you don;t see $150k in 18 months from EACH partner, you are losing money. Folks put time on my calendar frequently, but I sometimes get the sense they're unsure what to talk to me about. To have a high quality convo with your CRO, here's the mindset👇 Two years into my role scaling up GTM as a CRO, I would describe my #1 job as debugging. I'm always keen to talk to folks at any level with creative ideas and a vision for where the business needs to go and how we can unblock more revenue. Here are some prompts to get you started on a great convo with your CRO: - What's your POV on where your team needs to go over the next 2-3 years? - What skills does the team need to develop and what metrics will they move? - What hidden opportunities exist in the business that could be captured with small operational changes (to process, packaging, cadence etc)? - If I asked you to 2x, 5x, 10x your business in 12 months, how would you do it? There is value in the perspective from every seat. Don't be afraid to bring forward your ideas and excitement -- it's exactly what we want to hear.
