On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 2 pm ET, please join me as I present on the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) final regulation. There is a lot to learn. The final rule and interpretive guidance implementing the PWFA is 408 pages long. A portion of the presentation will focus on the rules, and the other will focus on the application of those rules. The webinar will also explain connections to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The PWFA applies to both private and public sector employers (state and local governments) that have 15 or more employees. You will not want to miss this presentation, as it will help ensure you are up to date on the PWFA requirements to avoid potential non-compliance issues, and help you continue to effectively manage your leave programs and employees. Workplace disability creates disengagement in the workplace, substantial losses in productivity, and costs Canadian employers billions of dollars annually. Effectively managing disability in the workplace requires a systematic approach.
