Hello folks! 🔗 Understanding How Blockchain Transactions Work 💡 Today, I learned about the step-by-step process of a blockchain transaction: 1️⃣ Initiating a Transaction: Alice creates a transaction to send cryptocurrency or data to Bob, signing it with her private key. 2️⃣ Broadcasting the Transaction: The transaction is broadcast to the blockchain network, reaching multiple nodes. 3️⃣ Transaction Validation: Nodes (or miners) validate the transaction by checking funds, signatures, and preventing double-spending. 4️⃣ Adding to a Block: Validated transactions are grouped into a block, including previous block hashes, timestamps, and a new hash. 5️⃣ Consensus & Block Verification: Miners/validators ensure network-wide agreement on the block’s validity through algorithms like Proof of Work or Proof of Stake. 6️⃣ Block Added: The block is added to the blockchain, updating all nodes and ensuring identical copies across the network. 7️⃣ Transaction Completion: Bob receives the cryptocurrency, and the transaction becomes a permanent part of the blockchain.
