Where do you lean more: UX or UI? Honestly, I hate this question. But it doesn’t mean that recruiters won’t ask it. I think that UX and UI can’t be separated from the product. But it’s true that designers could have a stronger skill set in one of these areas. I had an experience getting into this trap. The role I believed I was a very good match, rejected me because I leaned towards one side. And right on the call, recruiter mentioned that they’re looking for someone who’s leaning toward the opposite side. Recruiters and hiring managers shouldn’t ask this question, but anyway, they ask, so here are my thoughts on how to answer it ↓ #interviewquestions #productdesign

It's a misconception to think of UI solely as an art form; in reality, it's more like a science. 🌈 Color selection should be strategic, with hues mathematically harmonized to ensure visual coherence. 👩🏻💻 Consistency is key in layout design—paddings, margins, and spaces should be uniform, preferably in multiples of 4, optimizing for the 'rem' system prevalent in front-end development. 🆎 Typography and icons demand precise selection to achieve a balanced and cohesive look. 👾 UI design goes beyond artistic flair; it encompasses a methodical process, governed by rules and logical principles.
