Are all advertisements, good advertisements? - Short answer, no. Recent studies we have done here at Neurons 🧠 show that both when and where you advertise, can be the deciding factor whether or not your campaign will be associated with positive or negative motivation towards the brand. Key findings; 1️⃣ Ads shown in between shows (TV - mid rolls) are adding to our "Ad Annoyance" which can put your brand in danger of being associated with being annoying. Not because of the ad itself, but because of the time and place. 2️⃣ Ads shown just before shows (TV - pre rolls) are often seen as "okay" because they're often using language such as "sponsored by" or "created with". We tend to be more okay with these and have a higher liking towards these brands. Exposure might be "longer" for mid rolls, but not necessarily better.
