How QA Works PLANNING: We start by understanding what the software needs to do and plan tests to check if it meets those requirements. TESTING: This involves running the software through various scenarios to see how it performs. We look for bugs, glitches, and anything that doesn’t work as expected. FEEDBACK: After testing, we provide feedback to developers so they can make necessary improvements. RE-TESTING: Once fixes are made, we test again to ensure everything is perfect. Remember, good QA is a team effort! Developers, testers, and everyone involved in the project work together to deliver the best product possible. Let’s embrace the importance of Quality Assurance and aim for excellence in every project! #qa #sqa #manual #tester #qatester #sqatester

A QA tester needs to be sharp-minded because the role involves identifying subtle issues in complex systems and ensuring that software performs as expected under various conditions. Here are a few reasons why sharp-mindedness is essential: 1. Attention to Detail Small errors or bugs in code can lead to significant problems. A sharp-minded QA tester can spot these tiny issues that may be overlooked by others. 2. Critical Thinking QA testers need to think critically about how users might interact with the software, foreseeing potential problems and testing for edge cases. 3. Problem-Solving Skills When bugs are found, a tester must be able to investigate the root cause and suggest possible fixes. This often requires logical reasoning and an analytical approach. 4. Adaptability Software environments can change frequently, and testers must stay up-to-date with new features, requirements, or technologies. 5. Communication A sharp mind ensures clear communication with developers and stakeholders, explaining issues concisely and suggesting improvements. 6· Curiosity and Proactivity A great tester doesn’t just follow scripts—they're curious and proactive. They try to break the software in ways that others may not think of. This curiosity helps them find edge cases and rare bugs that would otherwise slip by. 7· Time Management With deadlines looming, a sharp-minded tester can prioritize what needs to be tested first and focus on the most critical areas. Balancing thoroughness with time constraints is essential. 8· Empathy for the User Understanding the end-user's perspective is crucial. Sharp-minded testers think about how different types of users will interact with the product, not just from a technical angle but also from a usability standpoint. 9· Learning Agility With technologies evolving rapidly, testers need to continuously learn new tools, methodologies, and frameworks. A sharp mind quickly adapts and absorbs these changes, ensuring they stay ahead. 👍 #qa hashtag #sqa hashtag #tester

To be Continued.... As I mentioned in my last post, I'll share some simple easiest ways to get start your career in QA... here it is... 🌟 Get start earlier stage of QA by following these simple practices: You need to be familiar with: 1. What is testing 2. why do we need testing 3. what actual testers do 4. what skills does the tester require 👨💻 Being a professional you need a system requirement document if not available then collaborate with the team to gather system requirements. 🧐 How to test: 1. Interact with systems components and their integration 2. Open Excel file 3. Label the columns (e.g: scenarios, cases, pass, fail, bug or just simple give a label, operations features, pass/fails, bug, frontend bug, backend bug) 4. Start making user stories and scenarios 5. Write the requirements of each operation/function, what the system should do, and what should not 5. Write all possible negative and positive cases on each functionality 7. Write clear, precise, and human understand language. 8. Make the file professional, not colorful.. Tip 1: Find the root cause of the bug by tracing them Tip 2: Identify bug raised from the back-end or front-end Tip 3: use technical terms while connecting with the team or reporting (most important) As a beginner it is not important to use a project management tool... your focus should be system understanding. Make things easier for yourself, employeer are already at their ease :-D That's how I learned and still learning.... #QA #Tester

Ditch your QA team and save money because... Developers should handle all testing. Did I just say QAs are unnecessary? Some people think so, but let’s break this down: Yes, developers should write clean, well-tested code, but here’s why having a QA team is crucial: Fresh Eyes Find Flaws: Developers can get too close to their code. QA testers bring a new perspective and catch bugs developers might miss. Developer Focus: QA allows developers to focus on innovation and problem-solving, not hunting for bugs. Specialized Skills: QA testers have expertise in areas like performance and security testing that go beyond a developer’s skill set. Collaboration is Key: Faster, Higher Quality: Developers and QA can find and fix issues early, speeding up development and improving quality. Reduced Costs: Finding bugs early means less rework and lower costs. Happy Customers: Good QA leads to better user experiences and happier customers. Do you think QAs are a burden? #QAMatters #DevAndQATeamwork #SoftwareQuality #SQA #QualityAssurance #SoftwareTesting #QATesting #TechTeamwork #QAengineers #DevLife #TestingMatters #Collaboration #TechIndustry #BugFree #UserExperience #CustomerSatisfaction
