Conversion tracking is a way to measure what happens after someone interacts with your ads. In simple terms, it helps you see if people take specific actions, like making a purchase, signing up for a newsletter, or filling out a form, after clicking on your ad. Key Points: 1.Purpose: To understand how effective your ads are. 2.Action Tracking: It tracks actions like purchases or sign-ups. 3.Data Use: Helps improve future advertising strategies by showing what works and what doesn’t. Your conversion actions are so much more than just another way to measure campaign performance. Your conversion actions are an integral part of your ads. They need to be strategised. They need to be tested. They need to be optimised. Why? Because Google wants to keep YOU advertising on their platform, and that only happens, when you’re getting (the right) conversions. Before the conversion takes place, your action tells Google what you want your customer to do. When the conversion happens, your action tells you how much the conversion was worth, and how it was attributed. After the conversion, your action reinforces who your ideal audience is, guiding the algorithm to show your ads to more people like them. All those things are powerful levers you can pull to get a better result for your clients. I know the easiest way to set up conversions is a quick GA4 import (or to not set them up at all), but that’s not enough. Don’t take these shortcuts when you’re setting up conversion actions for your clients. Set them up properly. #googleads #adwords #googleadwords #adexpert #marketing #mediabuyer #marketingexpert #digitalmarketing

Ever wonder why people don't trust automated bidding, even max conversions? I recently tested max conversions in an account where I typically prefer mCPC or max clicks, and saw a suspiciously large increase in conversions. At first, I thought, "wow, I've been missing out!" But.... Any idea on what I may have gotten wrong in the setup? Could the culprit be delays in conversion attribution? It seems like this problem has self-corrected, but not before filling this campaign with a whole heap of garbage data. #PPC #GoogleAds #PPCchat #SEM #DigitalAdvertising

You tried PMax, but disappointed by its performance? 😲 😡 Consider a new strategy: 1. Pick lower-funnel primary conversion actions, like MQLs, may require importing offline conversions 2. Create multiple asset groups, with specific audiences and ads that match the audiences 3. Add negative keywords and topic exclusions, Google can do it for you 🤯 https://lnkd.in/gfFp4Dm8 4. Replace your "Low" and "Average" performing ads with new ads What would you add? 🤔

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞: 👉 Selling a t-shirt? Test Lifestyle images (a model rocking the tee ) Versus Product-only images (just the t-shirt on a clean background). New Reporting Feature Spotted on Google Ads! 🚀 I just noticed an exciting update on Ad Group level reporting in Google Ads! 🎉 Before, we only had a graph showing conversion fluctuations over a selected date range 📊, but now there’s more! Check out the new graphical report that breaks down conversion types and shows how many conversions you’ve received for each conversion action. 🤩 This adds so much clarity to campaign performance, giving a better understanding of how different ads are converting! 💡 You also can see it on the all campaigns table by segmenting it by conversion action. But here, you can see it on a graphical view analyzing the performance day by day! 👉 Maybe it’s been around for a while, but it’s new to me! Have you seen this feature before? How are you using it for campaign optimization? Share in the comments! ⬇️ Did you like the post? Like & share it with your network to spread the tip! 🔄 Follow me for more insider tips!
