Protecting Your Fortress of Faith: 5 Essential Walls According to Imam al-Hajjawi, our faith is like a fortress with 5 walls: * Certainty (yaqin): The gold wall, the foundation of unwavering belief. * Sincerity (ikhlas): The silver wall, actions purely for God's sake. * Obligations (ada' al-fara'id): The iron wall, fulfilling our religious duties. * Recommended acts (sunan): The brick wall, going beyond the minimum requirements. * Beautiful behavior (adab): The clay wall, upholding good character. Neglecting the outer walls allows the enemy (Satan) to penetrate deeper, ultimately jeopardizing our faith. Let's strive to strengthen all 5 walls for a strong and resilient faith. #faith #IslamicWisdom #character

It took King Solomon 4 years to complete the foundations of the Temple and another 7 years to ‘build’ (complete) the temple. Something to be said for conviction, belief - deep roots - considered planning, commitment to cause and follow-through. Now whilst the Temple was destroyed during the Siege of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar in 587 BC I have a sense that the foundation/ s yet remained. Which is to say the fundamental belief system the basis upon which the Temple was constructed in the first place, the animating force that compelled King Solomon forward persisted - and in fact yet persists in the substrate of a complete religios. I would even go so far as claiming a foreshadowing into the realm of the numinous/ spiritual - a portending of a New Jerusalem - a spiritual vector. A foundation is a potent recall mechanism in its essence. Axiomatic if you like - the basis or fundamental principle of a belief system. Often/ and those things that are immutable or ineffable are largely inedible. “In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif: 38 And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it” - 1 Kings 6:37-38 KJV

#justice Psalms 9:8 He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness. Proverbs 16:11 The LORD demands accurate scales and balances; he sets the standards for fairness. 2 Peter 1:1 This letter is from Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have. This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior. https://lnkd.in/dDdzhu8x

FAITH IS RELEASED BY SPEAKING. #1 ...that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:4–6, 8–10 Christ marks the end of the law and the beginning of the new covenant. It is the gift of righteousness versus righteousness by works. Faith versus works. Believing versus working. Speaking versus doing.

Ephesians 1:19-21 KJV And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, [20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, [21] Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: https://tbibles.com/8sDb
