𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴!
The words themselves can send shivers down your spine.
Stage fright is a common struggle, but it doesn't have to hold you back!
𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆:
I recently worked with a client, let's call her Sarah (name changed to protect privacy), who was absolutely terrified of giving a presentation for a huge client meeting.
She was so anxious that we agreed that I would meet her at the venue just to help her calm down.
She envisioned the audience staring, judging, and frankly, waiting for her to mess up.
To help Sarah stay grounded, I used an unconventional trick: we practiced her 7 times multiplication table.
It may sound strange, but focusing on something familiar helped take her mind off her anxieties. (She made it to 7 x 23, by the way!)
This is just one of many techniques I use to empower clients to conquer stage fright.

𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁 –
A simple lemon or orange can work wonders.
The act of biting into something sharp and juicy activates your salivary glands and helps you feel more grounded before speaking.
𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 –
If you’re wearing heels, take them off.
Feeling the solid ground beneath your feet helps steady your nerves, giving you a sense of stability and calm.
𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 –
Ensure your hair is in place, your outfit looks good, and there’s nothing between your teeth.
This small action helps ease the paranoia that creeps up when you’re about to take the stage.
