Things we learned/re-learned/rediscovered in January 1. Working for/owning a small business isn’t a 9-5. There’s no schedule, time clock, or on and off switch. It’s a lifestyle, engrained in you all the time. It’s a unique experience, not to be taken for granted that takes a special group. 2. People don’t always work with you because they love your product or service, people work with you because of how you make them feel. What you make them feel a part of, what you do to make them feel special. Small gestures that make someone’s day bring big return. We are all humans before we are employees or clients. 3. Support your friends businesses. It doesn’t have to be with money. Like their videos, follow their accounts, tell people about what they do, leave a review. Little things are the big things.
