"How was I the topper of my college?" 🤔 This is a question I get asked a lot, so here’s how it really happened: 👉 Did I make notes? Yes, I made notes! 📝 I used a mix of softcopy and hardcopy notes. Some topics were easier to read from a PDF, while others I preferred writing down by hand. 👉 Did I study 📚 a lot? Not really. I studied decently but made sure to revise what was taught in class. This gave me a clear idea of what was going on and what the faculty was teaching. 👉 How was my 🖋️ handwriting in exams? My handwriting was good. ✍️ I was careful to keep it neat and straight on plain sheets. My answers were clear and to the point, with diagrams to explain where needed. I didn’t write unnecessary extra details. 👉 Did I study ⏳ one week before the exam? For some subjects, yes. If I had two exams in a day, I prepared one subject a week in advance and the other the night before. 👉 Did I study 📖 the night before exams? Yes, sometimes. But because I revised earlier, I usually had an idea of the topics and just focused on the important parts. This helped me stay calm. For tough subjects, I studied full nights like everyone else. 😅 👉 Did I solve previous 📝 year papers? Yes, solving them gave me confidence. If a similar question came in the paper, I knew I could solve it! 💬 Let me know if you relate to this or if you have questions about preparing for exams. There are more things to share, but I’ll save that for another post. Exam writing is tricky! I've been writing lots of multiple choicequizzes recently, so this meme is very relatable! It's trickier than you think to write a question and four possible answers that makes sense, are close enough to reality to be feasible answers, but leaves only one true correct answer. HINT: If you're taking a test and there's one answer that is slightly longer than the rest, that's probably the right answer! In an attempt to avoid ambiguity, sometimes more detail may surface.
