Influencer brands come across as a sure-fire strategy to success in business, let me explain… A community is key to the retention element of customer strategy, because the connectivity between the brand and consumer is what maintains the interest between those purchases. Influencers, especially those on the macro-scale, create that community from scratch through creating content that resonates with their audience and sharing parts of their lives in an authentic manner that builds trust and credibility. Upon this a strong human-driven connection is formed. With this also comes social capital, meaning when they launch product/service driven businesses, the brand identity is already established because it's an extension of a personal brand people are already invested in. Take Maebe by Molly-Mae. An ✨icon✨ in British influencer culture, I can guarantee all of her drops will be continuously sold out due to this very fact. On a philosophical note, it does demonstrate that however advanced technology becomes, power is always with people. Through the good, the bad and the ugly, we are hardwired to connect with others and so in actuality, the success of your value proposition is reliant on how people experience it. #influencerbrands #marketing #socialmedia #digitalcommunities #business

The influencer landscape is changing… To build meaningful, lasting partnerships with influencers / creators, brands must go beyond a transaction based mindset. Here are 12 essential steps to foster impactful collaborations: 1. Reach out with a clear opportunity & compelling reason to partner 2. Showcase why there is value alignment (creators are not billboards). What values does the brand care about? 3. Be upfront about exclusivity & usage terms (we always ask straight away) 4. Always respond following negotiation (whether you go ahead or not) 5. Define what success looks like, so everyone’s aligned on outcomes 6. Ask creators for their insights on how to connect with their community effectively—leveraging their unique audience expertise is a step many brands overlook! 7. Don’t tell them exactly what to say. Give the right framework for creative freedom 8. Do make change requests to the script... but minimise content change requests 9. Provide all the required links before content review 10. Establish fair payment terms and honour them 11. Avoid request changes just before posting 12. Explore long-term partnerships following success With these steps, brands can create authentic, win-win partnerships that resonate. Further comments on point 3? How do you manage this as a brand? What would be your number 13 & 14? N ----- 👋 Hi, I am Nick. I share key insights on creators, brands & how they can best partner together to make a positive impact. Are influencers taking a back seat to experts? According to a recent Forbes feature about big changes in product endorsements, the pendulum is swinging in our direction. The business case is data-driven: Stats show some influencers are losing credibility, so big brands are teaming up with retailers to promote educational content. Yes, experts are valued more in the B2B arena. This trending development will bleed over to our marketplace. Here are two changes I see coming: • Less style, more substance. That’s right; content is making a comeback. While insights are freely distributed without a paywall, they will be more valued in the sales process. That means these criteria will impact sponsorships and partnerships. • On-the-ground perspective is king. But the typical “I’ve been there” perspective at 30,000 feet is not enough. Our experience must be more specific to redefine and change the narrative. Here’s an example from the article: an Olympic athlete’s take on foot issues. Ask yourself: How can my experience defy the status quo assumptions? All of us—large and small—expect our content to differentiate our value and expand our reach. This article is a good heads-up that the path towards these goals is changing. Adapt accordingly. In today's #digital landscape, #socialmedia is the majority of #consumers primary source for discovering the latest #products and #trends . #Influencers have significant influence over purchasing decisions, with nearly half of consumers relying on their recommendations before moving forwards with #buying . We all know celebrities like the #kardashians once dominated the influencer scene, but now we can see a rise of #micro influencers, individuals with smaller but highly engaged followings ranging from 1,000 to 10,000, shifting towards more #authentic and #relatable #contentcreator . As creator #marketing gains momentum, partnering with the right micro-influencers is now imperative for #brands seeking to enhance content quality. Despite their smaller audience size, micro-influencers offer distinct advantages over their larger counterparts. With higher #engagement rates, micro-influencers foster genuine #connections with their followers, fostering #trust and #credibility They're also much more #affordable, typically costing between £100 to £500 per partnership, allowing brands to reach niche markets effectively. Leveraging micro-influencers' authenticity, engagement, and affordability, brands can tap into this strategic method to identify and collaborate with the most suitable creators for their campaigns. #business #entrepreneur #entrepreneurship #smallbusiness #businessowner #businesstips #digitalmarketing #smm #socialmedia #socialmediamarketing #socialmediamanagement

Unlocking Influencer Marketing Success Through Localized Research & Analytics When creating events in different locations, understanding the local influencer landscape is key to driving meaningful engagement. Antonio Silva and I took a meticulous, data-driven approach to identifying the right creators for the National Basketball Association (NBA) 2K League. For example, during an event in Washington D.C., TikTok was the platform gaining the most traction at the time. Using this insight, we set out to find regional influencers who could help us achieve our KPIs—specifically, selling tickets and boosting our food & beverage program. After compiling a list of 15-20 creators, we narrowed it down to the top 5 based on a secret sauce of various criteria (I can’t give away all the details here, LOL 😉). Among these top creators was Kiki, aka “The Ivorian Princess.” In my career, you’re lucky to find 1-3 influencers who truly understand your company’s vision and can communicate that to both their audience and ours in a unique, engaging way. Kiki was one of those rare finds. Thanks to her innovative storytelling, we saw increased F&B sales and packed arenas—proof that collaboration with the right influencer can elevate your product beyond expectations. I love this case study because it showcases our team's ability to think outside the box and identify talent that drives results on a high level. #InfluencerMarketing #ContentCreators #Analytics #Influencers #Storytelling #KPI #Events #WashingtonDC #MarketingInnovation #Collaboration #InfluencerStrategy #Marketing #Content #ContentCreation #Influencer #TikTok #SocialMedia #BrandAdvisor #BrandManagement #NBA #NBAnews #DEI

The influencer world is booming, but standing out can be tough. Forget being a generic "influencer" - it's time to niche down! Pick a specific growing area including sustainable fashion, or budget-friendly gaming. Here's why niching down is important: - 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭: Deep knowledge attracts a loyal audience who crave your insights. - 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Stand out and land brand deals that perfectly match your niche. - 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭: Create content your audience loves, boosting engagement and growth. So, ditch the "one size fits all" approach and niche down for influencer marketing success!
