Apple's new iOS 18.1 introduces Message Summaries, a convenient yet flawed AI feature that simplifies message management amid chaos. https://lnkd.in/diWNmTVj Apple’s new AI feature, Apple Intelligence, launched with iOS 18.1, introduces innovative capabilities like text rewriting, photo montages, and improved Siri interactions. One standout addition is the message summaries, which help users quickly grasp the essence of incoming texts. Although the technology isn’t perfect and struggles with sarcasm and context, it offers a helpful glance at messages without digging deep. Available on iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone 16, message summaries can simplify communication for busy users, making it easier to prioritize responses. To enable or disable this feature, users can adjust settings in the Messages or Notifications menu. ... a couple of iphone tricks that can help your day: 1. Use Spotlight Search as a Calculator and Conversion Tool: You can type in to spotlight a calculation - ie 70kgs in pounds and it will tell you on the spot 2. Voice-to-Text for Notes and Reminders: UtiliSe Siri to quickly convert your voice commands into notes, reminders, or calendar events. This is especially useful when you're on the go. Just activate Siri and say something like, "Remind me to call John at 2 PM," or "Note that I need to buy milk." Tech can be a game changer but it's just learning how to use everything at your disposal! Any other hacks you can suggest that are game changers?

You don't need fancy equipment to make a film! Theres been quite a hullabaloo about Danny Boyle making a film on iPhone... Yes there is an iPhone hidden somewhere in all the attachments, and what it really is is a sensor and recording device. But, its totally possible to make a film on an iPhone... but i wouldn't. The reason i wouldnt is because, they are not 'cinematic enough' on their own, you still need to have a seperate sound, you still need the lenses, grip and electrical equipment, crew, talent etc. Just because you have a phone doesnt mean you know what you are doing. Being an iPhone DOP is the same as bringing in AI, or making film just on VP. it just doesnt look right. 28 years later is using the phone as a sensor, and as a recoding device... it will have mutiple layers of post and colourization to make it look at the quality we expect. I am guessing this film will end up on AppleTV and this is some elaborate sponsership deal. Watch out fot the 'Shot of iPhone' billboards that will pop up! But please realise the reality of what it is, and having an iPhone does not mean you will be a top DoP or Director. Its a small tool being used in the bigger building site. Think of it as a Hammer, it will help build a house, but you need lots of other tools and skills too!

iOS 18.1 marks the official introduction of Apple Intelligence to iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the iPhone 16 lineup. This includes a myriad of features to begin the roll out of the next exciting AI into the market. Here are my personal favourites: Writing Tools: Proofread text and assists in rewriting different versions until the tone and wording are perfect for your needs (extra helpful for turning informal paragraphs into a corporate-ready email). Priority Notifications: Apple Intelligence sorts important notifications, like deliveries, meeting reminders, and event invitations to the top of the stack, and summarises longer notifications to help busy individuals know whats important with just a glance. Transcripts: Important calls & conferences just became easier on the iPhone, with the ability to record and transcribe calls and audio recordings right from the notes and phone apps. Siri has also received a glow-up, now understanding conversations better. No need to repeat the whole prompt anymore; Siri now understands you even if you stumble over your words. (Not to mention the beautiful glow around your phone screen when you activate Siri) #Apple #AppleIntelligence #AI

👀Exciting news for iPhone users: iOS 18 is on the horizon! 😳However, only the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will leverage the full potential of Apple Intelligence. 🪫This exclusive access is due to the significant computing power needed for on-device processing of these advanced features. 🙁Unfortunately, the standard iPhone 15, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and other models won't have this capability. 📈We're optimistic that the next base iPhone, anticipated later this year, will come equipped with a powerful enough chip to support these innovative functions. 👉🏻Follow Invinci AI 🤖 to stay updated with the latest & greatest AI Developments On Earth. 🌎 📲 Secure Your Company’s Future, Book Your AI Consultation TODAY. 🦾 🚀 BOOK NOW: https://invinci.ai/ 🤖
