Cold calls aren't enough. Brand presence is essential. The market is changing, fast. → Buyers want less pressure, more freedom. They prefer exploring on their own. They crave a rep-free experience. → But when they're serious, they need consultation. This is where your brand steps in. Be there to consult, not just sell. → Strong brands build trust. Offer value beyond your product. Provide insights, solutions, and support. → It's about relationships, not just transactions. Engage with your audience. Understand their needs and challenges. In a world where cold calls fall short, your brand must stand tall. Build it. Nurture it Let it lead.

The "worst" thing you can do in your personal branding is... Bringing others down to prove you're "the best". I see this on LinkedIn all the time. Example: 1. Discrediting competitors' methods without substantial proof. 2. Sharing negative reviews of competitors without offering constructive feedback. 3. Undermining the value of other professionals' expertise in your niche. Recognize the mistakes? This is called "competitive slander". And it's wrong. If anything, it makes your personal brand weaker. You don't need to bring a method down to prove yours is better. Simply show why yours is "good". Stop fighting to beat others ↳ Start fighting to beat the odds in your favor. There's a life lesson in here too. ;) Do you agree? What's your take on maintaining integrity in personal branding? #PersonalBranding #LeadGeneration #LinkedInTips #B2BMarketing

Without a personal brand, you’re just noise Your brand is your filter - it keeps the wrong people out and lets the right ones in. Without it, everything rushes in - distractions, chaos, and an audience that doesn’t get what you’re about. Your brand is also a magnet. It’s about filtering out those who don’t resonate with your message and attracting the people who do. Building your brand isn’t about trying to be everything to everyone - it’s being something to someone. → What is that something? → Who is that someone? The people who don’t resonate - won’t convert into loyal fans or clients. You’ll waste time chasing them when you should be focusing on the ones who really get it. When you try to appeal to everyone, you end up attracting no one. Your message gets lost in the noise, and the people who should be hearing you can’t find you. → Your brand brings clarity. It sharpens your focus and ensures that the right people—the ones who get you—are the ones who show up. Without it, you’re stuck chasing validation from the wrong crowd while the people who truly need you are left in the dark. → Build your brand. → Build your filter. → Build your magnet. The right people will find their way to you. They are the people who’ll become loyal fans and clients. ----- → I'm Dean Seddon CEO MAVERRIK® - Social Selling Training → Get my PDF guide to getting your first 10 clients (check comments) → Want to master social selling? #Follow me and I'll show you.

Marketing yourself first is not vanity; it’s strategy. In today’s competitive world, people connect with individuals before they engage with brands. By showcasing your expertise, passion, and authenticity, you build trust and create a personal brand that becomes the foundation for your company’s reputation. When you market yourself effectively, you position yourself as a thought leader in your field. This leads to networking opportunities, partnerships, and customer confidence—not just in you, but in the company you represent. Remember, people buy into people, not just products. Start by sharing your story, your learnings, and your value. Once your audience knows who you are, they’ll naturally want to know what you do. Your personal brand becomes the magnet that draws attention to your company. In essence, you’re the face of the company; if the face is trusted, the brand follows. So, invest time in yourself—attend events, share insights, and connect with your audience. A strong personal brand is the key to unlocking both individual and organizational success. #PersonalBranding #MarketingStrategy #AuthenticConnections #BuildYourBrand #LeadershipGrowth

I'm a BIG believer of this mindset. (It will change your perspective on personal branding) When you're posting on LinkedIn, you've millions of eyes on you. You can't really show your content only to your potential clients. But the beauty of having personal brand is - Not everyone who sees your content will be your client, but EVERYONE can be your potential referrer. 🫶🏻 Seriously think about it, you may not be the perfect fit for everyone's needs. But the people who connect with - 🌻 Your energy, 🌻 Your real values, and 🌻 Your way of looking at the world. They might just know someone who could use your services. To be honest, it makes sense to me because I do this ALL THE TIME. I refer my friends when anything comes up. Listen, if it makes sense to you too - START building your personal brand because, building a personal brand isn't about forcing sales. period. P.S. Do you believe in power of referrals? #personalbranding #linkedinforcreators

Having a "personal brand" isn't really enough anymore. We all have a personal brand here on LinkedIn, but not everyone has the same level of success. For the most part, a personal brand is just what appears when someone Googles you. It's important, but it isn't enough. If you want to use that personal brand to create real success in business, then there are 5 key things you'll need to do: 1. Present your ideas so that people will listen, understand and know how they can work with you 2. Publish content so good that people feel compelled to want to work with you 3. Create products and services that appeal to your 'Cinderella' clients 4. Create an effective profile so your prospects understand that you are the person or company they can trust 5. Form strategic partnerships with people who can get access to cash, resources or a bigger audience. Once you know the blueprint to follow, it's far easier to take your personal brand and turn it into a valuable business that might one day sell for £1m+ Which of these 5 areas do you need to work on the most? #personalbranding #business #personalbrand

Becoming a successful entrepreneur requires this small but important mental switch. It's not enough to have a great service with happy clients. Competence only gets you so far. The next level of success goes beyond building a personal brand. As Daniel Priestley articulates below, you've got to position yourself as a person of influence. Don't think of yourself as selling your company's time and products. Think of yourself as someone with a unique argument, with a compelling story to tell. Daniel offers some great advice below on how to do this. But to prepare yourself you first need to switch your mindset. People buy into people and brands that inspire them, have memorable stories and offer transformation. Don't compete. Be brave. Set yourself apart. Who do you know who does this well? Have you struggled to move beyond a competent personal brand?
