Despite the challenges posed by advanced decay , the procedure was a success, and the patient is now pain-free and smiling with confidence. This is a case of an endo-perio lesion wrt 46. An attempt to save this periodontically challenged tooth with RCT. Patient presented with a symptom of pain at night along with sensitivity of the same tooth. On inspection root caries was seen distally approximating pulp. RCT initiated with obvious signs of calcifications at the apical end of the roots. To negotiate the canals I have used 6,8,10 no. hand C files, followed by WL determination using xray+Apex locator, BMP completion with hyflex files, followed by obturation. #generaldentist #endodontics #dentistry #calcifiedcanals #Rootcanaltreatment #patienceiskeytosuccess #feedbacks

Radix entomolaris ✨ What is it? 🦷 First mandibular molars usually always have one medial and distal roots with three canals ie, Mesiobuccal, mesiolingual and the distal canal. Radix entomolaris is a case of an extra lingual root distally. 🔎 18 yr old patient presented with pain wrt right mandibular first molar. IOPA revealed radiolucency involving pulp along with periapical radiolucency suggestive of irreversible pulpitis 🔎RCT was planned and completed in two appointments as patient was asymptomatic after placement of Calcium Hydroxide intracanal medicament after the first visit. 🔎 next step : 1.
