I have been in the domain of Assessments for over a decade now. From the likes of MBTI as a Psychometric tool to the much stronger Neuro Behavioural tool named PRISM, no inventory stereotypes individuals at all. Toxicity in the workplace can be draining, demoralizing, and detrimental to both individual and team performance. So, what can we do about it? How can we navigate through these murky waters and foster a healthier work environment? One approach gaining traction is the use of assessment tools to gain insight into personality types. By applying assessment tools, we're essentially dipping a metaphorical stick into the pool of personalities that make up our workplace. These tools provide valuable insights into the traits, strengths, and weaknesses of individuals, helping us understand why certain behaviors manifest and how we can effectively manage them. Deepti Jandial , these are all so wonderfully identified. These types indeed cause a loss of morale. As far as behavioral assessments are concerned, immense research goes into them and therefore they should be used.
