Gautam Gambhir Can we bring back age old proven system of team selection i.e performance in First class Tournaments and now as we have Data support system it can be an absolutely transparent system.
Let a best player be out of team for International cricket match/series/competition if he is not in form as per his performance in First class Tournament. This will also slowly give chance to new upcoming players to get taste of international cricket and we will never have dearth of young force to replace.
Lastly , let there be Efficiency bars to cross to remain in Indian team separately bench marks for Test Cricket, T-20, One day, World Cup; else voluntary /compulsory retirement.
There should be NO weightage to performance in IPL.
There should be maximum number of days a player should be allowed to play International & Commercial (IPL, County etc) if players wishes to be considered for Indian Team.
Similar guidelines should be framed for Junior Teams too.

🌟 Empowering Differently-Abled Cricketers 🌟
At the Rajasthan Disabled (Differently-Abled) Cricket Association (RDCA), we are proud to be part of a broader movement led by the Differently-Abled Cricket Council Of India to empower specially-abled athletes through cricket.
Together, we aim to break barriers, foster inclusivity, and create opportunities for differently-abled players to showcase their talent and passion for the sport.
Our focus is on:
✅ Providing access to world-class coaching and skill development.
✅ Promoting an inclusive environment where athletes can thrive.
✅ Offering platforms for players to compete at national and global levels.
✅ Inspiring resilience, confidence, and pride among differently-abled athletes.
Through our efforts, and in alignment with DCCI’s vision, we are working towards a future where no athlete is limited by their challenges, but instead empowered by their potential.

Keeping in mind Recent Injury History and the Upcoming IPL, Should Jasprit Bumrah be Playing the Final Test Against England?
In my opinion Jasprit Bumrah is too important to India’s Multi-Format Fortunes that putting duress on his body for a match that is largely meaningless is negligence. This was a good opportunity for India to send Jasprit home for 3 Weeks for what is going to be a long IPL campaign with Mumbai Indians and then a World Cup in the USA and West Indies.
This decision and decisions like it are made everyday in Cricket. They expose the decision-makers in our sport. They expose the Captains, the Head Coaches, the Selectors, and the Chairman of our Boards. In the grand scheme of things this may not seem like a big deal. Let me assure you that it’s a significant decision with serious implications. It has implications for Team India, the IPL, the Mumbai Indians, the ICC World Cup, Jasprit Bumrah, and the Sport at Large.
Cricket is Broken!!!
10 wickets in a test match !!!!! History created by Sneh Rana 👏 👏 , This would have been the front page / prime time news if achieved by our men's cricket team. It is very sad to see nobody celebrate Sneh Rana victory & has been kept low profile by our media.
What an incredible performance! This 3 minute video shows the best talent, which every Indian should be proud of. It is sad to see the discrimination between men and women in cricket.
We strongly urge every Indian to cheer for Sneh Rana's achievement, and she should receive the respect she deserves.

Unbounded Spirit: The Triumph of Wheelchair Cricket
• In the world of cricket, where passion and skill collide, there exists a form of the game that defies limitations and celebrates the indomitable human spirit: wheelchair cricket.
• In this adaptation of the beloved sport, athletes confined to wheelchairs showcase their agility, precision, and determination on the field. What may seem like an obstacle to some becomes a platform for extraordinary feats of athleticism and camaraderie.
• Picture a thrilling match unfolding on a sun-drenched pitch, where players maneuver their wheelchairs with finesse, chasing down balls and executing strategic plays with lightning-fast reflexes. The crack of the bat and the roar of the crowd blend harmoniously, as spectators are treated to a display of pure cricketing prowess.
• But wheelchair cricket is more than just a game—it's a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Each player embodies the ethos of overcoming adversity and embracing the power of possibility. Their disabilities fade into the background as they showcase their talents and compete on equal footing with their able-bodied counterparts.
• Beyond the boundaries of the cricket field, wheelchair cricket inspires inclusivity and promotes awareness of accessibility issues. It challenges societal norms and fosters a sense of belonging for individuals with disabilities, proving that sports have the power to unite people from all walks of life.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made an exciting announcement, creating a special central contract specifically for fast bowlers. This decision comes following careful consideration and recommendations from the selection committee, highlighting the importance of nurturing and recognizing the talent in this crucial aspect of the game.
Among the 'fast five' selected for this special contract are some promising names, including Akash Deep, who recently made his debut in the thrilling IND vs ENG 4th Test match. His impressive performance on the field has earned him a well-deserved spot in this exclusive group.
Another standout talent included in the list is Umran Malik, known for his fiery pace and skill on the pitch. His inclusion is a testament to his growing reputation as a formidable fast bowler.
Joining them are Karnataka's Vijaykumar Vyshak and Vidwath Kaverappa, both of whom have caught the eye of the selection committee with their consistent performances and potential. Rounding off the list is Yash Dayal, adding depth and variety to the group of talented fast bowlers.
This special central contract not only recognizes the hard work and dedication of these players but also serves as a motivation for aspiring fast bowlers across the country. It reflects BCCI's commitment to nurturing and promoting talent in every aspect of the game, ensuring a bright future for Indian cricket.

## Breaking the Glass Ceiling: The Unseen Struggles of Successful Women in India
Despite our relentless efforts, we still find ourselves needing to shout from the top of the Burj Khalifa for our own country and fellow men to recognize our achievements. Long overdue, indeed!
Women in any field—be it sports, entertainment, business, or jobs—are often tagged and labeled as trying too hard to succeed. And if we do, the so-called "patriarchal society" around us is quick enough to take full credit for supporting us in our endeavors. It seems that our perseverance, efforts, skill, and knowledge are all just a waste if our "men supporters, fraternity" didn't bless us with their allowance. We still need verification, particularly by men, to celebrate our achievements!
The worst part is that even our female fraternity quickly joins the men's bandwagon to judge us. Any achievement a woman has is attributed to the men around her and the society that "let her" do it. Sad, but true, we are in the 21st century.
As a woman who has navigated the challenging landscape of business , being a lone female manufacturer in garment industry , I have seen this firsthand. It’s not just about breaking the glass ceiling; it's about ensuring the fragments don't rain down on us, cutting into our spirit and diminishing our accomplishments. Our journey is filled with unspoken struggles, silent battles, and unacknowledged victories.
We must change this narrative. Our successes are our own, born of hard work, dedication, and undeniable talent. We need to stand united, amplifying each other's voices and celebrating each other's wins. It’s time for society to recognize that women are not successful because they are "allowed" to be; they are successful because they deserve to be.
Let’s continue to strive, thrive, and inspire future generations of women to achieve greatness, undeterred by outdated norms and biased judgments. Together, we can redefine what it means to be a successful woman in India.

I understand that I have hurt the sentiment of so many cricket fans in a cricket-crazy country like India, in my previous post. But I still stand by the fact that, if not worse, cricket is the most overrated game in the world.
This game, which carries a colonial legacy, has eliminated many other games in India, which is the reason why India, a country with a population with a population of 140 crore, performs so poorly in the Olympics and Commonwealth.
Due to the glamour and hefty money involved in the I.P.L., I have personally seen cricket taking the place of games that we used to play in our childhood.
It’s also arguably the worst athletic sport, which includes so few movements that even an overweight person with a 29 BMI can easily play this game without much struggle. The opportunity cost of India winning the World Cup or getting ranked at number 1 should worry us.
Just like cricket does not deserve to be the most celebrated sport, the cricketers who promote alcohol, gutkha, and betting apps – including so-called youth icon Virat Kohli, who endorses Kingfisher, and honorary Lieutenant Colonel M.S. Dhoni, who promotes McDowell No.1 Whisky – do not deserve to be our role models.
I just have one question from your heroes; you can also choose to answer it on their behalf.
Will your role models ever influence their children to have tobacco, drink alcohol, or get addicted to betting apps? If not, how are they allowed to influence your child to do these things, and how can they still continue to be called your role models and heroes of this great nation?
