M. E. (Doc) de Baca, MD , very to the point and shows directly the challenges we face. Next to the ethical and and legal issues, it's important that when AI is used that should be mentioned in the reports. But also to enhance the quality of algorithms and patterns in daily practice, we must align, with metadata, the clinical relevant date and capture this in the standardized structured reports for pathology. This way we can gather high quality and defined data for secondary use. This should be done on a high level like an European of mondiaal level. Now is time to do so.
