DCM Shriram Sugar’s Post

At DCM Shriram Ltd.- Sugar Business, we take immense pride in celebrating the exceptional achievements of our progressive sugarcane growers who are revolutionizing the agricultural landscape of Uttar Pradesh. We are delighted to highlight the remarkable success of Mr. Sikander Singh, associated with our Ajbapur Unit in Lakhimpur district, who has been recognized by the Department of Sugarcane and Cane Development for achieving the 2nd highest sugarcane yield in Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Singh achieved an impressive yield of 251 metric tons of sugarcane per hectare, significantly higher than the state average of 85 metric tons. His success is attributed to implementing advanced agronomic practices, such as deep ploughing, trench planting, timely fertilizer application, cane propping, earthing up, etc. Our systematic farmer engagement initiatives are leading agriculture beyond individual achievements. Providing farmers with essential knowledge, infrastructure, and advanced equipment empowers agricultural communities to set new productivity standards. The remarkable outcomes are evident in our catchment areas, where sugarcane growers consistently surpass zone averages, with many achieving yields of more than 200 metric tons per hectare. At DCM Shriram Sugar, we are modulating agriculture through a transformative journey that seamlessly blends technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and farmer empowerment. Our vision transcends traditional farming paradigms, focusing on creating sustainable ecosystems that nurture productivity, preserve ecological balance, and elevate the socio-economic status of farming communities. With every progressive step, we are not merely cultivating crops, but sowing the seeds of a resilient, prosperous, and sustainable agricultural future that promises abundance and hope for generations to come. #EmpoweringFarmers #AgricultureInnovation #SustainableFarming #SugarcaneExcellence #DCMShriramImpact #DCMShriramSugar
