Interesting article Ajeya Cotra -- "Language models surprised us". I see three potential takeaways for CS teams: 1. AI language and reasoning tasks are advancing faster than experts predicted. 2. Rapid progress is likely to continue with big shifts in the next 1-2 years. 3. CS teams should actively plan for how to integrate advancing AI capabilities now.
