Not much active on LinkedIn and apologize for not answering your Technical questions and queries over chats, I am suffering from de quervain's tenosynovitis ( Right hand ) for a few weeks and hence not much active on LinkedIn, It is a very hard situation that pains when we turn the wrist, grasp anything or make a fist. Any weight above 100 grams is difficult to hold on the palm. The therapies that I am following include, 1) Immobilizing the thumb and wrist, keeping them straight with a splint or brace to help rest the tendons. 2) Avoiding repetitive thumb movements as much as possible. 3) Avoiding pinching with the thumb when moving the wrist from side to side. 4) Applying ice to the affected area. Ice pack gives great but temporary relief. Hoping It should go away naturally soon otherwise need to undergo a surgery.
