While BEV TCO remains competitive in 13 European countries, it has increased compared to internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles in others due to the end of subsidies and rising energy costs. In the UK and Austria, BEV TCO has reached parity with ICE vehicles.
>> EV adoption faces hurdles such as price volatility, evolving TCO, geopolitical tensions, changing regulations, and new taxation rules.
