My 1st SEO Client was acquired from Fiverr and it went terribly.... It was for a keyword cannibalisation audit and so desperate was I for the review I did it for $20. Which means after their 20% cut, I'm landing about £12. The client, a fairly well established UK merchant loan broker wanted to understand why they weren't ranking well for a particular term. I spent 2 days on this 🤣 Partly because I procrastinated and partly because I had zero processes or systems down in how to deliver this type of work. (Don't worry I'm not selling a system) I delivered: - Keyword Cannibal Report - Video report (30-45mins) on how to experiment with consolidating some content - Identified items that they missed which the competitors hadn't. - Suggested some decent avenues to get niche edit link insertions that would have been relevant for his business. I then waited - cautiously optimistic. Nervous - yes, but imagining he was about to be blown away by what he got. Unwittingly aware that he caught a good operator early on a platform. 🚨....Dispute lodged. I couldn't believe it. What was up? What's caused this? "I just expected more is all." Sadly a short bit of browsing and it seems all too common that there are people who know that newbies on the platform underprice and over deliver and if you raise a dispute they often walk away from the order leaving you to get the work for free. It hit my confidence for a while. I felt absolutely violated. Fortunately I always ask clients for their Google business profile. 😈 Yes...yes I did. I reviewed him as a member of the public who had had a business experience with a senior representative of the company. Needless to say he accepted my offer, gave me a 5 star review and we moved on. Why am I writing this, as all my UX study tells me that 85% of you have shut the post down by now? Well, if you're starting your freelance journey and dealing with this type of nonsense, it won't be forever. Once you start dealing with real businesses and emphasis a quality service NOT a quantity service, those experiences all but disappear. Also, ask for the Google business profile. PS: I still over deliver - if you want to see what that looks like and are trying to improve revenue from your organic channels, my DMs are incredibly accommodating.

𝑨𝙨𝒔𝙖𝒍𝙖𝒎𝙪 𝘼𝒍𝙖𝒊𝙠𝒖𝙢, 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮. I have been working in off-page SEO for the past two years, and during this time, I have faced many challenges. However, I never gave up and learned a lot from each difficulty. I kept my faith in Allah and continued moving forward, knowing that Allah has provided sustenance for everyone, so there’s no need to worry in tough times. To those of you who showcase your earnings on Facebook or elsewhere, I urge you not to focus on that. “𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒘-𝒐𝒇𝒇 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒚; 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌.” Today, I present a solution to a common challenge that many people are facing, and some are benefiting from it while having no knowledge themselves. I have had four unsuccessful Fiverr accounts, but I am now successfully running my fifth account, Alhamdulillah. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭, it couldn’t rank. I saw a post on Facebook and contacted the person. Some changes were made, like adjusting the title, description, and tags. Impressions and clicks started coming in, but still no orders. Eventually, I deleted that gig and created a new one. Similarly, my second, third, and fourth accounts also failed. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭, I learned and progressed through my hard work. Now I receive orders and messages from clients, and it is all a result of my efforts. I am incredibly grateful to Allah; my account now receives good clicks and impressions, and clients are coming in. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬: Do not be impressed by someone else’s earnings and reviews. Learn for yourself, take action, and move forward. Don’t pay others to do your work; instead, put in the effort yourself. If you are in the SEO field, you need to learn independently; this is your first step. Learn from ChatGPT, YouTube, and Facebook, and apply what you learn to yourself. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲, do not place fake orders on your Fiverr account. While it may bring in temporary orders, it won't lead to long-term success. Allah has written sustenance for everyone, and He will grant it to us without fake reviews. I have never placed fake orders on my account. I spoke with a 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒉𝒊 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓 whose profile has been active since 2013, and he told me he has never violated Fiverr's rules; everything he does is genuine 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 𝑫𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒚; 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅, 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇. 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒖𝒑𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒔, 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂𝒏 𝑬𝑪𝑮 𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆. 𝑰𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕, 𝒊𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓. So always seek help from Allah and remember me in your prayers. The £10,000,000 SEO Mistake You Want to Avoid. Over the last 7 years I've been collecting SEO mistakes I've seen. I have a huge personal database of SEO success stories and failures. Some of these I know the stories and the exact numbers because the 'victims' reached out to me. Others, it's easy to work out based on what things cost. Here are a few examples. The £15,000 article (yes you read that correctly) that doesn't generate revenue. The tech SEO mistake that wiped out £3 million in annual revenue for one site. The link buying that made one vendor rich, but wiped out about £2million a year in revenue for their client. The semantic SEO that hires writers for $10 per 1000 words, spent a year on the SEO, the site quadrupled its traffic...but now gets less leads (as their money pages rank lower). The financial advice company who hired an in-house SEO who spent six figures on content and links, saw a huge traffic spike, bragged about it, got loads of freelance clients...then the site crashed due to penalties. The SEO who did a revenue share deal, purchased a load of spammy links, saw them rank for a few months, earned a fortune and then the site got a manual penalty leaving a family business near bankruptcy. The list is endless. The industries countless. Some of the SEOs behind these stories could be described as 'gurus'. Others have blindly hero worshipped bad advice and are tsunami SEOs. They flow in with a big wave of traffic...then flow out as the site collapses. The database of SEO horrors is easy to estimate of costing £10 Million in revenue damage or wasted budget. It's probably 6 x this. But there is one underlying SEO mistake that each of them share. Incorrect SEO strategy. Many are wreckless with their clients. Many do not link what they do to revenue. Many just went after traffic. Many aren't bothered. These aren't all freelancers, many on my list of doom are 7 figure agencies. But everything stems from incorrect SEO strategy. We are going to enter a boom period of SEO growth. CACs have been rediculously increased due to a dependence on paid search for the last 12 months. Marketing managers ceased or reduced SEO spend are now looking at profit on their ad spend and seeing little. But with any boom period, SEO will be swarmed by sharks. So, buyers need to be very careful. SEO has the power to grow a businesses revenue by massive levels. It can also crush a business. This is why the 'who' is behind your SEO strategy matters. Get that wrong and the cost could be huge. Get that wrong and the damage could be beyond repair. But...if you get it right, the results could be incredible. Choose your SEO supplier wisely. #seo

I never expected that cutting 90% of my services would be the best decision I could make. Why? When I started freelancing, I thought it was smart to be broadly available. The more platforms and strategies you know, the more clients you can serve, right? So on my website, I stated that I specialized in Google Ads, Meta ads, SEO, Snapchat ads, TikTok ads, Reddit ads, Coinzilla, LinkedIn (ads and organic), and Twitter ads. A day could look like this: - Setting up a lead campaign on Snapchat - Creating a B2B content calendar for LinkedIn - Setting up a Google Shopping campaign for an e-commerce brand - Link building for an SEO client The only guarantee was that the next day was completely different. My schedule was packed, which was great, especially at the beginning. But for every question or task, I had to first figure out exactly how it worked. This took up a lot of unbillable time. So every day, I’d be working late into the evening researching all these platforms, without really becoming skilled in any one of them—and without making a real impact for those clients. This had to change. I went back to the basics, focusing on where my true expertise was. No longer doing everything for everyone, but only Google Ads and Meta Ads, first only for B2C clients, now mainly for Ecommerce clients. Best decision ever. Still I’m turning away SEO and Email-marketing leads, but luckily I found great partners for this. In the beginning it felt weird to turn away money, but the peace of mind that came with this choice gave me more time and depth in Google and Meta ads, resulting in better outcomes for my clients.

"The "who" behind your SEO strategy matters" - Andrew Holland With only few years in the industry I have seen and heard of these kinds of mistakes all stemming from an abysmal strategy. Either the specialist or agency in charge is gunning for more and more clicks, forgetting that while huge traffic can earn bragging rights, it doesn't necessarily mean more revenue for the business. Or shady link-building gimmicks that will lead to being caught up by a manual action in the long run. If a business will get the BEST out of SEO. Then they should ensure to employ or have the right SEO-mind behind the strategy and its implementation. Otherwise, what ought to make you millions will cost you millions. ✍️🏾

Fiverr will KILL your SEO and destroy your website. Here is the dark truth behind the $850M+ freelancer marketplace... GIMMICK 1: Reviews come BEFORE results. When an order is completed, a buyer is asked to leave a review right away. This is REALLY bad especially for SEO because results LAG behind inputs. So, you don't actually know if what they're selling is WORKING. The result is a bunch of flashy profiles that sell you a fake dream. GIMMICK 2: Too-good-to-be-true "Backlink specialists" My point on premature reviews is especially dangerous when you're looking for a "backlink specialist." You see 300 5-STAR reviews and you're sold. But those reviews are from people who are just as clueless about what a 'good' backlink looks like as the cheap labor selling them. This is because they are using SEVERELY outdated tactics. A typical Fiverr backlink offer you might see is: ⭐️ 30 SEO DO-FOLLOW BACKLINKS ⭐️ 3 DAY DELIVERY ⭐️ 11 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE ⭐️ $85.50 How does your bullshit radar not go off here? I'll tell you, the reviews. Fiverr's dangerous if you don't know better. GIMMICK 3: "Expert" SEO writers I've personally hired and tested 100+ writers on the platform. Here's what happens 93% of the time: → One-click AI-generated articles (Won't rank let alone sell. Simple.) → They advertise - and do - the bare minimum (i.e., "keyword-rich content", "100% plagiarism free", "In-depth topic research"). → They FAIL to understand your product. To them, content stops at SEO. Even when I've sent product guides, they struggle to connect features back to the content. So your content doesn't sell, which is what you're paying for. 𝗦𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲? 𝗡𝗼. I actually started on Fiverr myself 4 years ago. And 2 of my top writers today were hired on Fiverr. Here's my foolproof guide on PROPERLY hiring SEO talent on Fiverr. How Much Money Can You Make Online with Passion? Turning your passion into a source of income has never been easier. But how much money can you make online with a passion? Let’s explore the various avenues available and see how lucrative following your passion can be. Understanding the Potential: When we talk about making money online with passion, we’re referring to leveraging your interests and skills to create income streams. This can range from blogging to freelancing, e-commerce, and more. The amount of money you can make depends on several factors, including the niche you choose, the effort you put in, and the strategies you employ. Blogging and Content Creation: Blogging is one of the most popular ways to make money online. By sharing your knowledge and experiences, you can attract an audience and monetize through ads, sponsored posts, and affiliate marketing. Successful bloggers can make anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand dollars per month. Freelancing: Freelancing offers another lucrative option. If you have skills in writing, graphic design, programming, or consulting, you can find clients online and charge for your services. Freelancers can earn from $20 to over $100 per hour, depending on their expertise and the demand for their skills. E-commerce and Drop Shipping: Setting up an online store or engaging in dropshipping allows you to sell products without holding inventory. With platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce, you can easily start your own business. E-commerce entrepreneurs can earn anywhere from a few hundred to millions of dollars annually, depending on their product selection and marketing efforts. Digital Products: Creating and selling digital products such as eBooks, courses, and templates is a fantastic way to generate passive income.
