If a drug manufacturer or their product fails to effectively communicate its value, there are several potential risks and negative consequences: 1. Limited market access and reimbursement: If payers don’t grasp and understand the full value, then they could perceive price to be excessive, with result that final price achieved is lower, or that access is restricted. 2. Lower adoption rates: Healthcare providers may be hesitant to prescribe a drug if its value and place in therapy are not clearly articulated. Patients may be less likely to request or adhere to a treatment they don't perceive as valuable. 3.
