What I learned in my 10th month of Pharmaceutical internship. I spent the whole month in the accounting section because I wanted to learn how to manage the finances of the pharmaceutical industry. 1. I spent two weeks in the Treasury section where I learned how to record the statement of accounts brought in by the sales/medical representatives. I also learned how to get the customer's payments from banks and put them in an Excel sheet. I learned the way the expenses are being recorded. 2. I then moved to the audit section where I learned how to audit the accounts they have. It is joined with the credit control unit too. 3. I then moved to the costing unit. That's where I learned about product costing and how to get the cost price of your product using the cost of raw materials, packaging materials costs, running costs, and labor costs. Then get the total number of products for a particular batch. It's really interesting.

David, you have to have your beards. I never liked the idea of shaving beards at this my young age. It took me a very long time before I started growing beards. It just started growing in late 2022 and in last year, 2023 it had grown to a measurable quantity. Then when I entered the pharmaceutical industry, one of the first rules they gave to me was I had to go shave my beautiful beards. Man, that pained me so much. Now here I am looking younger than before. After just two weeks into my internship, I have learned a lot already. Industry is a sweet place to learn and grow. Every pharmacist should have an experience in the manufacturing industry. Pic: Me in the cafeteria during the break period. #pharmacist #pharmaceuticalindustry

: 💊 Wrapping Up My Internship at Saffron Pharmaceutical 💊 I’ve just completed my two-week internship at Saffron Pharmaceutical, and it’s been an experience that deepened my understanding of the pharmaceutical world beyond what I expected. Over these two weeks, I explored a wide range of areas: 🔸 Raw Material Storage (RMS): I gained a deeper understanding of how proper storage ensures the quality and efficacy of the final product. The attention to detail in this section made me realize how every step in the process counts. 🔸 Creams & Syrups: Learning how formulations are developed and tested for consistency was a fascinating process. It showed me how much precision goes into every step to ensure safe and effective production. 🔸 Sterile Manufacturing: This was one of the most challenging and controlled environments I encountered, where maintaining sterility is non-negotiable. The strict protocols and attention to detail here really emphasized the responsibility we have in this field. 🔸 Tablets: I learned about the processes involved in tablet formation from weighing, sifting to compression , coating to packaging, each stage relies on flawless coordination. I quickly learned how teamwork is essential in ensuring efficiency without compromising quality. 🔸 Quality Control (QC) & Quality Assurance (QA): These sections really brought everything together for me. Seeing how QC and QA ensure every product meets the highest standards made me appreciate the unseen work that guarantees patient safety. This internship gave me a real-world perspective on pharmaceutical manufacturing and reinforced my commitment to the field. I’m leaving with not just technical knowledge but a better understanding of the responsibilities we have to patients. I’m excited for what comes next and grateful for this invaluable experience! #pharmaceuticals #internship #learningexperience #pharmaindustry #qualityassurance #careerpath #pharmacystudent

🌟 Thrilled to announce the successful completion of my regulatory and quality engineer internship with Dialysis-X! 🌟 During my time at Dialysis-X, I had the opportunity to contribute to the regulatory strategy for a new Class II medical device, leading multiple critical initiatives: One of the most rewarding yet challenging aspects of my role was developing a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) template that complied with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820. Initially, I struggled to grasp the depth and complexity of the QMS framework, as it requires detailed knowledge of regulatory standards, design controls, and documentation processes specific to medical devices. Challenges Faced: Understanding how to balance the stringent requirements of ISO 13485 with the agility and innovation demanded by a startup was particularly challenging. Navigating through the intricacies of regulatory frameworks—while ensuring that the system was robust yet flexible—took considerable research and hands-on learning. How I Overcame the Challenge: I broke down the QMS into its core components, dedicating time to deeply understand each area, including risk management, design controls, supplier quality management, and post-market surveillance. By consulting with experienced team members, analyzing ISO and FDA guidelines, and iterating through multiple drafts, I was able to craft a system that not only ensured compliance but also enhanced the company’s operational efficiency. This experience greatly improved my skills in regulatory affairs, quality management, as well as project management. I also leveraged Microsoft Project to track timelines and milestones, ensuring that the system was implemented smoothly and on time. I am grateful for the incredible mentorship I received at Dialysis-X and excited to continue applying these skills in my future career! #MedicalDevices #QualityManagement #ISO13485 #RegulatoryAffairs #QMS #ProjectManagement #Internship #Compliance #Innovation

🌟 Reflecting on My First Month at Dr. Abidi Pharmaceuticals 🌟 Here’s a glimpse of my journey in the QA unit: 🔹 Overview: I started by familiarizing myself with quality assurance activities and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), which are essential for maintaining product quality and safety. 🔹 Master Files & Validation: Key highlights include process validation for solid oral products, cleaning methods, machinery qualification and validation, pure water systems, and computer system validation. 🔹 Quality Systems: I explored risk assessment and CAPA systems. 🔹 Production Tour: Observing the production unit allowed me to see machinery up close and understand their operation, including challenges faced during various production stages. 🔹 IQ & OQ Processes: I participated in the IQ and OQ processes for new machinery in the production site, specifically for the Alexanderwerk roller compactor and Romaco Kilian tablet press machine, along with the company’s representative. 🔹 Technical Unit Insights: A visit to the water purification section of the technical and engineering unit, coupled with Q&A sessions with technicians, was incredibly enlightening. 🌟 Research Focus: 🌟 With the knowledge gained on the compactor machine and the challenges of granulation and the compaction process during the OQ process, I conducted studies focused on the quality challenges of producing a specific product. These studies were presented to the management of the Quality Assurance unit. 🌟 What’s Next? 🌟 I will be transitioning to the QC section, where I anticipate hands-on laboratory experiences and deeper dives into quality control processes. Special thanks to Mr. Kadivar and Mr. behnam Ghazilou for their guidance and support throughout this journey. #PharmaceuticalIndustry #QualityAssurance #QualityControl #LearningAndGrowing #GMP #Internship
