🎹🌟 Unlocking the Symphony of Life: Why Life is Like a Piano 🌟🎹 On a Piano, there are 88 keys When we look at it, we dont point out a specific keys for no reason and say that the key is "WRONG". We only think a specific key is wrong, if we think someone is playing a specific song and hits the key that is not matching to the song. Inherently, the piano has no wrong keys, though. There are only keys and notes that sound more or less pleasant when played together. Just like no wrong keys in Piano, there are no "WRONG" decisions in life. There is only THINKING that gives us a pleasant or a miserable feeling. When we label things as "RIGHT" and "WRONG" , "GOOD" or "BAD", this creates duality and conditions in our lives which determine how we feel. As we navigate the keyboard of life, let us play each note with intention, knowing that every sound contributes to the masterpiece of our journey. REMEMBER, YOU ARE THE MUSICIAN OF YOUR OWN LIFE!! The human mind wants stability and resolution. I recently turned a song off in the car right before the final note. My kids did not like it. “Turn the song back on, mom!” The brain does not like dissonance. This concept is referred to in music theory as a “dominant” to “tonic” resolution. If I ended on the higher note in this flute performance of Bizet’s “Carmen” you would want to hear its resolution. Ambulance sirens are also an example of a different kind of musical dissonance. Resolution is a sign of stability and harmony. However life sometimes has its dissonance. And it does not always have perfect resolutions. What can we do in these moments? I find when I lengthen my space between reaction and response I can ride out life’s imperfections or music’s dissonance. Mental back roads such as mindfulness, gratitude, and kindness can help with these difficult feelings. I wanted to share a live, raw acoustic version of my song ‘It Ain’t Easy’—a reflection on connection and authenticity. ✨ Have you ever felt like no one truly understands your creative spark or sensitive soul? You’re not alone—I’ve been there too. Here’s what I’ve learned: the more you start showing up as your true self, the more you’ll attract people who resonate with the real you.
