📖I first read about him during my first year of #engineering, which motivated me to work on electric vehicles during my college years. This decision was #challenging for me, as I had a limited #budget of only 2000 rupees per month to manage my #expenses. I had to sacrifice small pleasures like a 30 rupee paratha to invest that money in #building the #vehicle. However, my hard work and dedication paid off in the end. ⌛Over time, I came across a lot of information on #electric #vehicles (EVs) and began to watch and listen to various sessions and #podcasts on the topic. I found Sandy Munro's Channel on YouTube, Ather Energy Vantage #sessions, and Ravin MIRCHANDANI's Energizing India Podcast particularly informative. 🔍However, I could not find comprehensive #information on Chetan Maini and his work in this field explaining all the nits and bits of EV Space. Recently, Nikhil Kamath invited Chetan Maini to his podcast, Wtf is Podcast, to discuss #EV, a viral episode. Now, I was interested in why he stopped building EVs despite being one of the pioneers of the EV revolution long before Elon Musk. This information comes from a podcast called "First Principles" by The Ken. The conversation is between Rohin Dharmakumar, founder and #CEO (The Ken) & Chetan Maini, CEO of SUN Mobility. Chetan tells his story first-hand, and it's inspiring and motivating for people who excel in tech but struggle with business. You don’t get long to prepare to host the Eurovision Song Contest. Once you allow time for the bidding process at one end and the time needed to start construction and rehearsals at the other, you have a handful of months to not only put on the TV show but also to sort out the Host City and build on the success of previous years. The latter is the challenge facing Malmö. The organisers hope to make a difference in sustainable practices by ensuring Malmö 2024 and its activities are certified as a sustainable event. Not only does this benefit Eurovision 2024, it is an experience that can be passed on to the 2025 Host City and broadcaster. While the whole Contest cannot be made one hundred percent sustainable overnight, Malmö can guide future Contests. How will this be achieved, what will it take, and what can visitors to Malmö expect to see? NanaBcool's next Bandcamp exclusive single 'Antidote' dropped today. I strongly believe Bandcamp will play an even more important role in independent artists' release strategies in the near future. It fosters a supportive community and its flexibility allows artists to maintain creative control and experiment with their music. Artist-unfriendly payout rates on other DSPs will drive that development since independent musicians face significant challenges in getting paid. They have to be on the lookout for more equitable revenue-sharing models. I see the awareness of these discrepancy growing within the independent music community, and more artists are likely to turn to Bandcamp as a primary platform for releasing their music. I believe there's gonna be a slight shift towards a more artist-centric ecosystem soon.
