Thank you... You just made my day. I love being the Founder of Canadian Group Insurance Brokers. For over 20 years we've been running events to help benefit brokers get better, build their practices and safeguard their clients. It's one of the big reasons that employers prefer to work with CGIB members. We help advisors through our seminars, workshops, casual mentoring, SLACK exchanges, coffee chats and lots of one on one discussions. On most days it's a thankless job. We know we've done well, that advisors are using the learned knowledge to make themselves better, as well as their staff, employers and employees...you see it, but seldom get more. Today I got the following note from a CGIB member... "I don’t know if I ever told you, but you may have been one of the more pivotal influences in me taking my career in the direction it has gone….specializing, not relying on quoting to win business, focus on admin, liability, etc. Our team is pretty aligned with that messaging." You know who you are....Thank you.

Even when you are being praised or thanked, you still say it’s because of all of us. It’s YOU Dave Patriarche who holds us all together. A true leader and guide. Even when we’re silent or haven’t checked in for a bit, know we’re all listening and learning. Thank you.

We had our Penmore planning and dinner event yesterday and two folks that are now part of Penmore (Probenefits), one told me they brought their son who now works with his mother at Probenefits to a CGIB seminar for take your kid to your work day. He said he was totally confused at your seminar and I first met Nick at one of your seminars way back and I asked him what he does and he said just investments and since he got into the group business.

No idea where I'd be if I didn't stumble upon the early breakfasts at Stacey's in 2004. I called it the monthly meeting of "basement dwellers". Thanks to you and everyone for making me better and listening to my gripes about insurers and making them better....😉🤣
