There are moments in life when the past floods in, not as memories but as lessons, etched in the quiet corners of our minds. We often rush forward, chasing what’s next, too eager to leave the past behind. Yet, in the stillness of reflection, we see what we couldn’t before: the patterns, the choices, the unspoken truths. Retrospection is like standing in front of a mirror that doesn’t just show our face, but the journey etched into every line. It is both a gift and a burden—the gift of seeing how far we've come, the burden of realizing how often we’ve missed the beauty in the steps along the way. We look back not to regret, but to understand. The heartache that once felt unbearable now carries wisdom; the mistakes that seemed like failures were simply detours on a path we needed to take. We begin to see that every choice, every loss, every triumph was part of a greater design, even if we couldn't see it at the time. Retrospection allows us to make peace with the past. It gives us the clarity to move forward, not as the person we were, but as the person we are becoming. In those quiet moments of reflection, we learn to embrace what was, let go of what no longer serves us, and step into tomorrow with a deeper understanding of ourselves. https://lnkd.in/dZngyZGw #napkins #cocktails #bar #restaurants #summer #holidays #clubs #parties

Think disability inclusion and accessibility don't help profits? Think again. Sheri Byrne-Haber (disabled) shares a great example from Campbell's. Look at that! I'm promoting the company in a positive light. They didn't pay me to say this. They made their products accessible. Word of mouth, y'all! Now if Campbell's would cut motion or put it in the viewer's control. That page reporting their changes is loaded with motion. Trigger warning! #Accessibility #Inclusion #Profits
Here are the accessibility changes that Campbell's Soup recently made to its soup labels after 50 years with the old labels. 1) Removed drop shadow around Campbell's logo. 2) Increased spacing between letters in Campbell's. 3) Added more three-dimensional feeling to the medallion. 4) Made the trademark logo smaller (emphasizing the more important text). 5) The word "Soup" is no longer a serif typeface. 6) The word condensed was moved (again, to emphasize more important language) 7) A graphic was added. Sales went up. No one was confused, and nobody whined. If you don't give a <bleep> about DEI or disabled people, make things more accessible for improved ROI. You can pretend to be profit-driven. The rest of us don't care; more importantly, we know better. Accessibility. It isn't just for the digital world. #Campbells #CampbellsSoup #ROI #Profit #ReturnOnInvestment #Disability #Accessibility #Design #Retail #Supermarket

Where does your target market hang out? Karen's got it all figured out. She knows that dog walkers will be in her local wood so why not advertise there? All be it, not the finest print job you've ever seen, but in the right place to get quality enquiries. I'm sure Nicholas Broadbent could help her out with the signage side! Question is: Where does your target market hang out?
