New research from the National Coffee Association USA shows coffee consumption is at a 20 year-high - but where it's being consumed may surprise you. It's not Starbucks. It's not Dunkin'. It's not the local coffee shop. Americans are enjoying their daily dose of caffeine at home! The Spring 2024 National Coffee Data Trends report discovered that Americans are drinking an average of 2.7 cups of coffee a day. Among all survey participants, 67% reported drinking coffee within the past day. ✨ And among all past-day coffee drinkers, 83% chose to drink their coffee at home, an increase of 4% since January 2020. ✨ Conversely, 35% reported having coffee prepared away from home, down from 41% in January 2020. The continued demand for coffee, coupled with the rising popularity of consuming it at home, presents an extraordinary opportunity for multifamily owners and operators.
