The 2024 Distribution Priority Area (DPA) review may only be 6 weeks away. I stress MAY, as we never exactly know and last year it was in December. I’ve learned over the last 11 years to never second guess the review and never try and understand the rationale. There were times when parts of Sydney were DPA and Broken Hill was not. There were times when we thought DPA would never return to areas like Newcastle and Wollongong, yet they surprised us. Our instinct is that there will not be many changes this year, especially given the Kruk report recommendations and new programs, such as the Pre-fellowship Program (PFP), which now allows nonVR GPs to work in DPA/MM1 locations for up to 2 years. So, what can you do prior to the review if you are a: 1. Practice owner in a DPA location 2. Onshore GP still under the moratorium 3. Overseas GP eligible for the Specialist Pathway Secure that GP / Job Offer prior to the review! Any contracts/service agreements signed prior to the review, in a DPA location that loses DPA, WILL be protected. If you are still looking for GP for your practice, or a DPA position, contact our team today. We can discuss all of your options to enhance the chances of a securing a GP / Job Offer prior to the review.

For vetting the operator on this deal in particular, The process involved both detailed analysis and building trust over time. Being part of the same group for a while, we had frequent interactions, meeting twice a week and thoroughly discussing deals. This continuous engagement allowed for an in-depth understanding of their operations and shared experiences, making it easier to trust their underwriting. Additionally, the operator's strong presence in the area and experience with several properties as part of the GP team reinforced confidence in their capability, making the decision to invest straightforward. 👇CLICK ON THE LINK IN THE COMMENTS TO WATCH THE SHORT VIDEO👇 #duediligence #operator #gpteam #multifamily #investwithscottkidd

Is your firm on this list ? The BTI team identifies the firms and individual attorneys delivering the best in Client Service - that fungible mix of planning, people, and technology delivers superior results. And superior results aren't easy to achieve. Remember that client service is as much perception as it is delivery. It takes skill and planning because service is delivered at the moment of consumption. No chance for corrective action. No inventory to fall back on. No "QC" process to inspect the product before it's delivered. Way to Go Service All-stars!

🚨National Absurdity Day Alert!🚨 Did you know that in 1913, you could mail a baby across the country for just 15 cents plus insurance? Yup, folks, Grandma’s house wasn’t just a holiday destination—it was a shipping address! Fast forward to today, and while babies aren’t being shipped via the postal service anymore (thankfully), something equally absurd is happening: companies aren’t calling SBC’s Crane Division to solve their hiring challenges! Let’s be honest—hiring top talent in the crane, construction, and heavy equipment industries isn’t child’s play. Yet some companies keep spinning their wheels trying to tackle it alone. Meanwhile, we’re over here with years of expertise, a deep candidate pool, and the know-how to make hiring as seamless as sending a postcard. So, let’s make today count! In the spirit of absurdity, why not do something wild, crazy, and completely logical—partner with us! Whether you need skilled operators, technicians, or project managers, we’ll find the right fit while you focus on building great things. Let’s leave the mailing-babies absurdities to history and tackle the modern-day absurdity of ignoring SBC. Call us today and let’s get to work!
