Nightfall AI announced that its generative AI (GenAI) DLP platform now offers coverage for SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM), data encryption, data exfiltration prevention, and sensitive data protection. Dataiku announced the launch of its dedicated cost monitoring solution, LLM Cost Guard, a new component of the Dataiku LLM Mesh. Back from AWS re:Invent in Vegas, and one signal came through clearly: the next big security challenge is governing how AI agents share data with other agents. AWS dropped their latest updates, including a game-changing multi-agent orchestration service in Bedrock. It lets LLMs deploy specialised agents that work together to tackle business problems - delivering significantly better results than traditional single-agent approaches. Bedrock handles state management for developers, but the critical challenges remain unsolved: authentication and information sharing. It isn't just about individual agent access anymore. It's about secure information flow between agents, particularly when they represent different organisational stakeholders. Traditional access controls simply weren't built for this level of autonomous interaction. We understand this problem deeply, so it was amazing to be able to chat with likeminded people from across the technology industry about how these agents manage data access and sharing by understanding the semantics of the content. The issue we heard most often is that lots of agents mean lots of management. My conversations last week made it clear that everyone is grappling with how to implement controls for agent-to-agent data sharing without introducing new vulnerabilities. For security leaders tracking this space: the security models for multi-agent systems are still being defined.
