🎉 Day 2 of U.S. Media Literacy Week! 🎉 Today, we’re highlighting the Analyze component of media literacy. This critical skill encourages us to think deeply about the media we consume by asking questions about who created it, why it was made, and what biases or techniques are at play. To analyze effectively means to look beyond the surface and ask yourself: “Is this media trying to influence how I feel or think?” Take a moment to reflect and develop your own conclusions. Unfortunately we know not everyone on the internet has the best interests of others in mind. Some try to evoke certain emotions or a false sense of trust/authority in order to elicit additional information from you. Please review TikTok’s reference page on scams for more information here: https://lnkd.in/eGNZ8bgx Let’s work together to strengthen our critical thinking and become more discerning media consumers! #MediaLiteracyWeek #AnalyzeMedia #CriticalThinking #FactCheckYourFeed National Association for Media Literacy Education Learn more: https://mlw.namle.org/
