I'll be posting to Medium to Opus Research for a while. I'm focusing on #PersonalAI and what it will take to have so-called #AgenticAI bolster #PersonalAssistants and how that is going to play out. Feel free to follow and contribute thoughts. (BTW: If anyone here can advise me on adding images to my posts on Medium, I'm all ears. Every source I go to, including Medium's own "Help" screens say that I need to "go to a new line and hit the "+" button from the menu on the left." the left side of my screen is blank.

While I wait for this cool session happening next week, I thought I'd reach out to ask: has anyone done an evidence synthesis using an ontology? Inspired by a great session by Paulina Schenk and Lisa Zhang on using ontologies for evidence synthesis, I'm keen to explore this approach in a current project where I need to bring together a wide range of types of evidence from different parties and viewpoints (academic/non-academic) on a single topic - crucially, there are also different definitions used across the sources. I'm cautiously optimistic that the BCIO could be a good starting point, although I'd also need to code the intervention functions and implementation strategies. The "small" hiccup is that this is more of a rapid review than a systematic one, with the corresponding need for speed. I'm certain I've only reviewed a fraction of the resources from the Human Behaviour-Change Project so far, so if there's a useful one I've missed, please tip me off 🤓 (Or if I've missed a crucial insight, I'm keen to hear those too!) #behaviorchange #behavioralscience #evidencesynthesis #bcio *** Recording of Paulina & Lisa's session: https://lnkd.in/e4d4kbun The below event is next week, more details in the link: https://lnkd.in/eXmCGhFK

In our upcoming free webinar on 25th of April, we will share an inclusive and participatory idea on doing research: 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬. At Perspectivity we use several methods to accommodate this, such as respondents that each interview other respondents and a special technique that helps respondents self-interpret their own data. Besides sharing these methods, we will present several case studies to you in which we have applied these! Celebrating the magic of π on Pi Day! 🎉 Pi (π) is a mathematical constant representing the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. It's one of the most well-known and fascinating figures in mathematics due to its unique properties. Did you know ...? • Pi is an irrational number, which means it cannot be exactly expressed as fraction of two integers. Its decimal representation is infinite and non-repeating, with the first few digits being 3.14159. • Pi is a transcendent number, meaning it is not the root of any non-zero polynomial equation with rational coefficients, making it even more unique among numbers. • Pi has permeated culture, science, and education far beyond its mathematical origins. Pi Day, celebrated on March 14th (3/14, resembling the first three digits of π), is a testament to its widespread appeal and significance. It features pie-eating, discussions about the importance of Pi, and even competitions to memorise the most digits of Pi. Challenge yourself to learn the first 100 digits of π: https://lnkd.in/gfdRQGYa 🎵 Today, Comprara extends the warmest wishes to our dedicated team at PI (Purchasing Index) - Purchasing Index Australia (PI Data Analytics Pty Ltd), Benjamin Shute, Milan Panchmatia, Shivani Verma, Kaixi Cheng, Saad Abbas, Monali Dahanayake, Sameer Iyer, Smitha Vinay. We applaud our data scientists, analysts, and engineers' work, which embodies the spirit of exploration and discovery. Pi Day for us is more than just about indulging in pies 🥧; much like the intriguing and infinite nature of π, the PI team's quest for uncovering deep insights from complex spend data never ceases to amaze. Here's to the PI team making this Pi Day about discovering the extraordinary in the ordinary, inspired by our favourite irrational number! #PiDay #MathHumor #DataScience #SpendAnalytics #314

There is always more with π ... it is truly the number that keeps giving! Did you know ... 1. The Great Pyramid at Giza suggests a ratio that nearly approximates π when measured by its perimeter and height. Some historians and mathematicians speculate that the ancient Egyptians might have known about the concept of π. ◭ 2. π has been calculated to over 31 trillion digits! The quest to calculate π to its furthest decimal has become a digital marathon, with records continually being broken thanks to advances in computer technology. These computations showcase the limits of human curiosity and computing power. 🏃♂️ 3. Pi Day not only honours the mathematical constant π but also pays homage to one of the most influential scientists in history, Albert Einstein, as it is his birthday. 🔬 #PiDay #MathHumor #DataScience #SpendAnalytics #314 #PurchasingIndex #CelebratingPi #DataInsights #TechInnovation #SpendManagement
