I am so grateful to work with such innovative and creative folks who are mission-focused and always open to new ideas, creative solutions, and pushing the boundaries so we can help pets live their happiest, healthiest, and longest lives. Taryn Branca, Polydoros Sassos MBA, Katie Kerr, thank you for your leadership this week and giving the team the resources and support we need to drive success for our team & clients (both future and current). Hannah van der Vord, Sam Osborne, Lauren Eager exploring all of the work you're doing in your channels was fascinating and how they all interconnect and ladder-up to our goals was so fun. It was great to see all the hard work you've accomplished in 2024 and all you have left to do was absolutely invigorating. Joelle Rodenroth & Cecily Spikes...what is there to say!? You're both absolute powerhouses and I can't wait to keep celebrating your wins every week (because at this point, it is every week!). Thank you for always using marketing's email sequences, blogs, and social posts to bolster your amazing outreach. It means so much! Diving deeper into the foundational ops work Kristen Archer & Kayla Chabola do was fascinating (and I've never been so happy to see so many reports -- your work in Hubspot was used in almost every presentation!). The thoughtful work Jessica Snyder (she/her) and Kyle Lautan are doing to ensure our employer clients have an above-and-beyond experience was wonderful (and helps explain our insane 93 NPS!).
This week, our Go To Market Team came together for a week filled with collaboration and strategic planning. Discussing strategy, sharing wins, and brainstorming new initiatives was incredibly valuable. But even more importantly, the connections we made and the laughs we shared will drive our collective success forward. I spent the last week in NYC 🍎 for a QBR, growth on-site meeting, and the first Ocroweek of 2024. What a great week full of well-earned celebrations, amazing sessions and conversations, but most importantly some in-person time with the team transforming AI-driven document automation. 🚀 Here are some of my key takeaways: 👉 Being in person is powerful. I had so many ad-hoc side conversations that will undoubtedly accelerate projects and ROI just because cross-functional groups were in the same building. I cannot wait for the next Ocroweek. 🎯 Rather than planning broad 1H plans, the team narrowed its focus to three key projects. By thinking strategically and getting laser-focused on three impactful areas, we left our planning sessions with clear ideas on how to execute. 🎉 We celebrated because we deserved it. 2023 was a rollercoaster, but the growth team crushed it. Not only did we increase monthly pipeline generation by +65%, we did so effectively and efficiently and reduced marketing spend by 13%! I'm excited for what's next at Ocrolus. From fancy presentations, to sticky notes on an office window, to a bar napkin—the form and function of Kaizen isn’t as important as the fact that it’s actually happening! 2- Good continuous improvement is CONTINUOUS. Formalized consulting engagements are often periodic and sometimes sporadic, while improvement effort needs to be made every day, most especially when the consulting team isn’t even in town!
