‘The Power of Personalized Care’ Having worked in both the healthcare and hospitality industries, I’ve realized they share a critical mission: putting people first. Both fields are built on trust, empathy, and exceptional service, even if the contexts differ. In healthcare, we’re not just delivering treatments; we’re guiding patients through some of their most challenging times. Similarly, in hospitality, it’s not only about providing a service but creating a safe and welcoming environment where people feel valued and supported. These industries have taught me that every interaction is an opportunity to impact someone’s day—and sometimes, their life. Whether it’s a patient’s experience in a hospital or a guest’s stay at a hotel, it all comes down to one question: Did I make them feel truly cared for? By bringing empathy from healthcare, and the focus on customer experience from hospitality, we create stronger, more human-centered environments. In both fields, the goal isn’t just delivering a service; it’s creating an experience that makes people feel seen, understood, and valued. As I leave Health Rosetta #rosettafest - in the whirlwind of time I got to be here - I’m amazed by the overwhelming number of NEW solution providers that continue to rise all with one goal in mind - to CHANGE the way #healthcare is administered- and make it more #ACCESSIBLE and #AFFORDALBE.
