People who recently had COVID-19 may choose to delay getting a COVID-19 vaccine for 3 months, as getting sick again is less likely in the weeks to months following infection.

I want to emphasize the critical importance of shingles awareness, particularly for our elderly population and those who are immunocompromised. Shingles can pose serious risks, leading to painful symptoms and long-lasting complications. Did you know that 1 in 3 adults will develop shingles? For older adults, the risk of experiencing debilitating postherpetic neuralgia (nerve pain) increases significantly. The CDC recommends that all adults aged 50 and older receive the shingles vaccine.
