I was talking to a friend of mine who is an incredible recruiter. They are running ads and getting hiring managers coming in, But they are online leads and they are very cold. So the conversion is really low. We were talking about how to improve his conversion. This is very common struggle that a lot of businesses struggle with. The best ways to improve conversion is to build trust And one of the ways to build trust Is by being visible through CONTENT. But again, the classic “I don’t know what content to post, that is relevant and meaning for the clients” Here’s a trick I’ve learned about content creation. The easiest theme of content is DAILY OPERATIONAL CONTENT. So, what’s daily operational content? It’s content that teaches your audience how to operate their business on a day to day basis. Simple things like “How they create job descriptions”, “How they do cold email outreach etc.” Where do you get these content ideas? During your day to day conversations. My friend was doing a hiring matrix And explaining how the candidate performed. I asked him to create a simple 2 min video Explaining what a hiring matrix is and why they use it. Now this might not seem Like the greatest content to create, But these bite sized contents, Brick by brick will create a formidable And impressive wall of portfolio of the business. When people are browsing and researching, They find you and see how incredible your business is, Trust is instantly established. It will live online, Selling your services and business for you 24x7. Conversion becomes effortless. Facts, agencies are using job ads as personal brand advertising or just a lazy solution to filling roles. For me I feel like this is a complete scam to clients, why? ➡️ Anyone can post a job ad and filter through applications. ➡️ Where is the value add to a client with being an admin person? ➡️ It's just lazy. What am I doing thats different? ➡️ With over 10,000 connections across the industry ➡️ Staple black book of high end talent I already work with and have clear understandings of their expectations in their next role. ➡️ I headhunt and hand pick - you're paying for a tailored service that is niche to your brand. The reality is anyone can post a job ad and you're coming to an agency to add value. Most of the time the best talent for you probably isn't actively on the market but my candidates have trust in me to bring roles to them that align with what they want if they was to move. The word 'specialist' and 'no.1' agency in the world I must see several times a day yet you're just a CV generator at this point and not pulling the best of the best for the client.
