Strategic Plan Update for Oskarianka Mobilitas Center We are excited to share the newly updated strategic plan for the Oskarianka Mobilitas Center, reflecting key revisions and optimizations to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. After careful evaluation, we’ve introduced major updates to the concept of Bus Mobilitas Centers, now envisioned as bus hubs similar to airports, offering a high standard of service and functionality. Key Updates: 1. Fleet Optimization: The Mobilitas Centers will utilize Setra and Mercedes-Benz AG -Benz Intouro buses, providing travelers with a luxurious and comfortable experience. Every vehicle will feature Wi-Fi, USB outlets, leather seats, gourmet vending machines, and coffee machines, with fare classes ranging from ComfortClass to Jetbus Class, our premium offering. This integration of advanced technology positions Oskarianka as a leader in sustainable urban mobility solutions. 2. Expansion of Services: In addition to buses, our new fleet of Oskarianka CabTaxi electric vehicles for urban areas will focus on sustainability and affordable mobility. This approach aligns with European Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP), reducing the environmental impact while enhancing access to integrated transportation solutions. 3. Strategic Route Planning: The initial route will connect Veneto and Emilia Romagna, with key hubs like Mezzogoro to improve intercity mobility. Our strategic transport development plan will improve regional and local connectivity, laying the groundwork for future international expansion. 4. Technological Innovation: Oskarianka buses will feature real-time route optimization, ensuring fast journeys and minimizing delays. Our digital ticketing platform will integrate cryptocurrency payments, anticipating a cashless future by 2030. This contributes to building a sustainable and decentralized financial system. 5. Stakeholder Engagement and Environmental Compliance: By integrating transportation with sustainable urban planning, the Mobilitas Center not only improves mobility but also drives economic development in the involved regions, positioning Oskarianka as a leader in integrated mobility. 6. Yes, I advocate for EVs over fuel cars due to their reduced carbon footprint. ↳ However, we need systemic changes to create more sustainable and liveable urban spaces: ➡ 15-Minute Cities🚶♀️ These urban designs aim to reduce the need for vehicle use by ensuring that all essential shops and destinations are accessible within a walkable distance. The benefits include reduced traffic congestion, decreased CO2 emissions, and increased physical activity among residents. ➡ Bicycles🚲 A study led by University of Oxford found that switching just one daily car trip to a bicycle ride can reduce an individual's carbon footprint by approximately 0.5 tonnes annually. If 10% of the population adopted this change, it could reduce lifecycle CO2 emissions from all car travel by around 4%. ➡ Zero Emissions Zones🚫 In London, the introduction of zero emissions zones has had the same impact as removing 200k cars from the road for an entire year, in just six months. Nottingham's Workplace Parking Levy, which charges employers for employee parking spaces, has helped reduce traffic growth by 48% and contributed to a 33% reduction in the city's carbon emissions since its implementation in 2012. ➡ Free Public Transport🚋 Cities across Europe are experimenting with free public transport to reduce car dependency. Dunkirk in France, for instance, made its public transport system free in 2018, providing 200k residents with fare-free access to bus routes. Similarly, Tallinn, Estonia, offers completely free public transport to its residents since 2013, inspiring other cities across the country to follow suit. ➡ Incentives for Tourists💸 Copenhagen has launched the #CopenPay initiative to encourage sustainable tourism. Visitors who use public transport or bicycles instead of cars or taxis are rewarded with perks like free coffee, museum admissions, and extra ski time at a local heating plant. Lunch talks: The challenges of sustainable mobility in the city. Claudia Pérez Casas worked in the Sustainability Impact and Safety Department of Cabify, which is one of the first carbon neutral mobility apps working in Europe and Latin America. During this lunch talk, Ms. Pérez spoke about the main challenges of mobility in large cities, where there are still people who face difficulty when moving around the city. Another challenge is that cities have been adapting to vehicles for years and finally, the unsustainable pace at which the urban centres are growing right now. In addition, she exposed the main goals to make mobility better for everyone. First of all, provide everyone with safe transportation. In second place, help cities evolve with people in mind and third, an efficient, respectful and sustainable mobility. In order to achieve these goals, there are three main focuses in the future of mobility. The first one is to enable opportunities for everyone, assuring a fair transition towards sustainable mobility. The second one is to give health and safety a paramount importance. And last is clean and efficient transportation, aiming at decarbonization and circular economy values throughout the whole value chain. The seminar ended with a brainstorming session with the participation of all attendees. At the end of this, there was time for questions, where the main conclusion was the challenge of having enough electric cars and infrastructure, collaborating with governments, institutions and public administrations, in order to accomplish the electrification of the entire fleet of mobility companies.
