Another Truesec Technical Talk evening, this time about OT SOC. I personally also looking for a specific kind of monitoring software, see below. First Kai Thomsen did an excellent work of talking about a topic that makes normal ransomware attacks looks like child play. If your OT environment is breached you may be lucky if you ending up needing to re-certificate your factory. In worst case... well, people may die... 😱 Also a thank you to Kevin Widlund and Nicklas Keijser who showed us examples of how to track down suspicious traffic in your OT-network but also talked about what to NOT do. Like why you maybe shouldn't do Nmap in an industry environment. 😦 On this topic, 😇 I'm looking for suggestions of systems that can monitor the behaviour of a network and trigger an alarm when you have deviation from whatever is a baseline. Like social media traffic on a net set aside for cameras. Or cameras starting to communicate on a different port. Any ideas what I should look in to?
