TECH WRITING PRO TIP Initial caps in your social media hashtags (#TechnicalWriter vs. #technicalwriter) allow users employing screen readers (such as the blind and those with dyslexia) to hear the correct hashtag. Initial caps enable the speech-generating text parser to discern and correctly pronounce the individual words. They also improve readability for any user (#CurtRobbinsTechnicalWriter vs. #curtrobbinstechnicalwriter).

With five article drops and a newsletter every week, I try to avoid repetition. But I reposted this because it is undeniably my most popular post to date. Perhaps because we can all use this advice, regardless of profession or industry segment. And it feels enriching to do the right thing and so easily be more inclusive with our communications. In 25+ years of tech writing, I don't think I have learned of a rule that is so easy to perform while having such a dramatically positive effect. The value ratio is rare. If you know of similar strategies, tips, and tricks for making technical content more accessible, please leave a comment below. And thank you for reading!

Great tip, as a client of mine fits your description and I'm always looking for measures that can help with writers with varying disabilities.
