I am thrilled to have successfully completed the Cyber Operations Associate Summer Training Program (120 hours) at National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) - in partnership with the هيئة تنمية صناعة تكنولوجيا المعلومات . This comprehensive 4-week program (August 25-September 19, 2024). Throughout the course, I gained valuable knowledge in key areas of cybersecurity, including: - Network Security - Security Operations Center (SOC) processes - Incident response - Threat Intelligence I also developed important Soft Skills, including: Communication and Presentation Skills - Leadership and Teamwork - Time Management - Business Writing - Critical Thinking and Problem Solving - Negotiation and Conflict Resolution I'm eager to apply this knowledge in real-world situations and continue growing in this exciting field. This program will not only teach me how to identify and solve security problems in computer systems but also includes courses in Business English, career development, and essential workplace skills. By analyzing key components such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems and using advanced techniques like penetration testing, the project provides actionable insights to enhance cybersecurity. The goal is to enhance malware defense, mitigate DoS attacks, prevent phishing and social engineering attacks, and reduce insider threats, ensuring a robust and secure network environment. I would also like to sincerely thank Fatimah Alsayoud, Ph.D for her incredible support and guidance, which were essential in helping me complete this project.
