So worth the listen as to what we say to someone and how we say it. It could make all the difference in the world. https://lnkd.in/eSTkNbht

Breaking out of the echo chambers in our lives allows us to question some of our beliefs. Once we question our beliefs, it helps us imagine a world in which we can live in line with our own values rather than societal norms. Expanding our horizons and doing the inner work to understand who we are and what's important to us allows us to live in line with our own values and sources of meaning. Hi everybody, I feel the need to write more, both about my experiences and about things that interest me. Everyone always said "hey, Johnthan. You should write more." Recently, I've found the time and/or courage to do so as Johnthan Speed, not any sort of pseudonym. I hope you join me on my journey on Medium. Don't worry, articles will be 93% safe-for-work (aside from any music or thematic elements)--such as this introspective on Mac Miller and his 'K.I.D.S.' project.
Thank You, Mac

Looking forward to speaking on Thursday afternoon at Blue Earth Summit Get ready to hear about the future of fashion STUART TREVOR - we’ve made it our mission to create exciting products from others waste, to make it easier and more fun to buy sustainable fashion, to wear non destructive clothing Eco anxiety is higher than ever before, people are starting to realise that the world cannot afford to carry on with this conspicuous consumption they’ve been brainwashed into believing makes them happy. It doesn’t and it has made many people realise that they are addicted to something that’s killing the planet for future generations. Yet people still want the dopamine hit and will always want to treat themselves and their loved ones. By producing amazing exciting products from existing clothing we can make a difference in the world and satisfy that desire whilst alleviating any negative environmental impact. ‘Reworked, rebranded, cut up, distressed, and reimagined with care – patched, printed, hand painted, sprayed, washed and embroidered, often with “less is more” in mind.’ There’s a huge supply of vintage clothing ready to be given new life, millions of metres of “dead stock” fabric either lying around in fabric mills or ending up in landfill.
231 Speakers and counting! Flash to bang, this has to be our most influential gang of speakers yet. Huge shout out to Rosie Riley and the team for bringing this year's line up to life.

This day serves as a reminder that reconciliation is more than just wearing orange; it’s about recognizing the lasting impact of residential schools and taking meaningful action toward healing. Here are a few ways you can honour this day: Pause for Reflection: Take a moment of silence to honour the survivors of residential schools, their families, and the lives lost. Listen and Learn: Regardless of your understanding of Indigenous history, now is the time to listen and learn from Indigenous voices and communities. It’s an opportunity to expand our knowledge and empathy. Support Indigenous Perspectives: Explore and support Indigenous voices through art, literature, music, and activism. Engaging with these perspectives can deepen your connection to the path of reconciliation.
