A wise person once said, "Teamwork makes the dream work." This quote resonated deeply with our team as we recently emerged victorious in the University Capture the Flag (CTF) competition organized by the "Null Chapter VITB" club. Almost two months ago, my team participated in the University Capture the Flag (CTF) competition organized by the "Null Chapter VITB" club. Out of nearly 20 talented teams, our team emerged victorious, claiming the top spot in this intense competition. The CTF was divided into three challenging rounds, each one testing our skills in various domains of cybersecurity, including cryptography, web exploitation, reverse engineering, and more. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the "Null Chapter VITB" club and the organizing team for organizing such an excellent event and providing us with a platform to showcase our talents. Additionally, I want to thank my incredible teammates for their unwavering support, collaboration, and relentless pursuit of excellence throughout this CTF. Some great discussions had at the table today, discussing with CISOs about cyber and operational resilience and how they often intertwine, how important relevant tooling is to assist in expediting processes that often require high resource demand and how tabletop excercises to test detection and restoration processes are instrumental in preparing organisations for the inevitable.

The Marathon, Successfully participated in my second CTF Event, NahamCon CTF 2024, team focused event which was exciting to experience. Will be working on my first write up for this one. Exciting stuff. Next up on the agenda, is this upcoming weekend where I'll be taking my talents to the US Cyber Games CTF Event and seeing what magic I can make happen! Studies have continued to begin with a primary focus on Network+, currently getting into the OCI Model, Network Encapsulation, and Network Topolgies. And as always, the journey continues with additional practice for near and future CTF events by utilizing HackTheBox and PicoCTF. Learning more about tools, best practices, and delivering write-ups.
