[CSR] Sixense UK & NE launch CSR commitments At Sixense, our new CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is supported by both management and employees. At the very beginning of our CSR project, a working group was set up comprising volunteers that represent our various specialist services. Meetings, workshops, and synergies between the various internal stakeholders in this project (employees, management and our holding company) have enabled us to define a solid approach to CSR, supported by a coherent and accessible action plan that all our business units, globally, have adopted. Our approach to CSR is based on 15 commitments, which are based on 3 pillars: 👉 Economy & Governance: We are committed to working every day with our customers, partners, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to design and deliver solutions for the preservation and sustainability of infrastructure, and the safety of people. 👉 Social, Human, Societal: We are committed to putting people at the heart of what we do, by ensuring the safety, health, and wellbeing of each of our employees. This week we have published MAG (Airports Group) FY24 CSR Reports! As anyone working in sustainability reporting knows, creating and preparing these reports requires a monumental team effort. Behind each disclosure, story, achievement and data point is a team of colleagues working together to deliver a brighter future. 🛫 I'm incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved in line with our CSR Strategy and wanted to share some standout achievements below: -Building on our commitment to net zero operations (Scope 1 & 2) by 2038, we have committed to setting a near-term target aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). We have also collaborated with multiple partners to ensure we are laying the foundations necessary to secure alternative fuels, such as sustainable aviation fuel and hydrogen at our airports.🌍 -We launched the MAG Jet Zero Curriculum to educate young people about sustainable aviation fuels. In addition to this, we directly supported over 17,500 young people through our Aerozones, career talks and events. 🎒 -We generated more than £7.5 million in new contracts for local businesses through our Meet the Buyer events at our airports. 💰 -Awarded EcoVadis Gold rating for our ESG performance and launched our procurement transformation programme – assessing the sustainability impact of MAG’s supply chain and working with our suppliers to further improve their sustainability performance. 🏅 -Donated over £790,000 to community organizations, consulted on noise action, and held our first Youth Summit, bringing together young leaders across our regions. 🤝 You can find the reports linked below.
