Digital Transformation in Egypt: A Future Powered by Youth With over one-third of its 100 million population under the age of 24, Egypt stands at the threshold of a digital revolution. The vibrant energy of its youth, combined with initiatives like the ICT Strategy 2030, is unlocking new pathways to innovation, e-governance, and economic growth. However, challenges persist. Limited access to devices, urban-centric initiatives, and digital gender gaps highlight the need for inclusive solutions. Our recent Data Governance Snapshots, highlight Egypt's dynamic start-up community, its strategic location as a global connectivity hub offer immense potential for bridging these divides, but there remains s need for collective action, digital literacy and equitable access to technology in achieving a truly “Digital Egypt”.
