CPD what's the point I have been completing CPD for many years way before I was self employed. In fact just to show my age I was probably doing CPD before it was called CPD. Now I am self employed there is no one to chase me to make sure I'm staying up to date and continuing to develop my skillsets. Its up top me to motivate myself. Being a member of an institute or professional body can provide the opportunity to independently assess your training and ensure you aren't going off track The Security Institute allows me to submit my CPD annually and check I'm staying on track and not just conning myself in my personal development. In a world where terrorism and security develops so fast its important to stay relevant. #training #cpd #security

“Do you do much training?” Is one of the most asked questions in interviews… and the answer is well….yes! This was just last week and the face to face training included 🤩Positive Behaviour Management (3 days!) 👷🏾♀️Safety Planning 💻 Cyber safety for young people (facilitated by the Police) 👮🏽♂️How to conduct a Room Search (facilitated by the police) 🖥️ Display Screen Assessments. BUT we do so much more learning in practice, our motto is “one of us isn’t as good as all of us” so we are always learning from each other! Want to up your skills and work with this lovely lot?
