🎉 The Ontario Pharmaceutical Marketing Association has done it again! Kaidi Zhou, MSc and Julia Hatherell represented Metrix at the GM Spotlight event earlier this week. Thanks to the incredible panel and moderator (Colleen Coxson, Kenneth Custer, Paul Petrelli, Leandra Wells, PhD, MBA and Sangeeta Shah B.Sc.Phm). Here are some of our takeaways: ✈ The journey to the GM role... • There is not one single path. GMs come from diverse backgrounds and starting points, such as academia (2 science PhDs on the panel!) and agency. • You can always expect some imposter syndrome, but don’t let it deter you. Know that you deserve to be where you are in your journey. 🤝 As a GM... • Your job isn’t to be the smartest person in the room. Rather, it’s to ensure the right people are in each position and they are empowered to be at their best. • Ultimately, everything always comes down to the patients and seeing the impact we make in their lives.
