As a marketer. I know this to be 100% true. Classic Cialdini research. People buy with their peers. Peers, not content, can sway indecision. Peers, not authority, moves a maybe to a yes. You need peer reviews to help sell your book. Welcome to the i-net revolution... Read Craig's book? Enjoyed it? Give him a shout out. A sentence is better than silence.

They sure do. Most of us don’t want to beg for reviews. We wish those who tell us they enjoyed a book would write a review but many do not. Most of the reviews I get come from total strangers or people I barely know. We’d love family and friends to support us with reviews, but it’s often not the case. Reviews help, in several ways, is all I can say.
