What do you think about the new Performance Max campaign insights? This is my ratings ⭐ ⭐☆☆☆. Why? Google is adding three new insights for the PMax campaign. 1. Individual asset-level conversion data 2. “Target pacing” insights to check how the campaign ROAS or CPA is trending against the goals 3. Impression share metrics for Performance Max campaigns running on search inventory Of these three, except for the first one, the other two are unactionable. In digital marketing, unactionable insights are useless. So, while it is good to have these insights, we also need campaign controls to take action based on them. “Campaign-level negative keyword addition for PMax” is a welcome move. However, it has come a little late, as it has been the highly requested feature of PMax since its inception. I would love to have these controls on top of the new insights. “Having the option to control PMax campaign impression share.” Do you like this control? What other controls do you like to have in PMax?
